Paul Ricard day 3: Zonta quickest

Toyota's new test driver, Ricardo Zonta, set the fastest time in testing at the Paul Ricard circuit in France yesterday (Thursday), ahead of the three McLaren drivers running at the test

David Coulthard set the second quickest time, 0.267s slower than the Brazilian driver. McLaren test driver Alex Wurx was third quickest, ahead of Kimi Raikkone, who had set the pace on the first two days of the test.

It was Toyota's final day of running at the circuit, and the first time that Zonta had driven the new TF103. "I was very positively impressed with the team's new car and look forward to driving it again," he said.

Driving the F2003-GA, Michael Schumacher broke the Fiorano lap record for the second time in three days yesterday (Thursday). Schumacher set a best lap of 56.807s, and completed 84 laps of Ferrari's test track.
