No points for disappointed Renault
Renault failed to score a point for the second successive race after a difficult Austrian Grand Prix for Jenson Button and Jarno Trulli
The Briton finished just out of the points in seventh, while Trulli again failed to finish as his car expired on lap 45 with no fuel pressure. The Italian has yet to score in 2002.
"Once again, it's a disappointing end to the race," said Button, who chased after David Coulthard's sixth place in vain. "The car felt good all day, even though we were losing some time out of Turn Two. Towards the end, I was as close as I could get to Coulthard - there really wasn't anything else I could do."
Trulli had jumped ahead of Button during the race's two safety car periods and felt a good result was on the cards. "Our strategy meant I gained a number of places when I stopped, and everything was going after that," he said. "I was fighting with Fisichella and Coulthard - I'd even say I was a little bit quicker. Then I simply lost fuel pressure and had to retire."
