Mugello test complete

Rubens Barrichello picked up where he left off on Thursday by being quickest on the last day of testing at Mugello, as Formula 1 gets ready for the Belgian Grand Prix next weekend

The Brazilian completed 95 laps of the circuit near Bologna with a best time of 1m25.770s. His team mate Michael Schumacher was second quickest, just over a second behind Barrichello.

BAR's Ricardo Zonta, who is leaving the Brackley-based team at the end of the season, was third, with test driver Patrick Lemarie in fourth.

"We have had very good reliability from the cars," said BAR's Test Manager Andrew Alsworth. "As a result we're quite looking forward to next weekend in Spa. The fact that Ferrari, Sauber and Minardi [the latter two completed their testing on Thursday] were also testing here means that we have three very distinct benchmarks against which to measure ourselves."

Barrichello Ferrari 1m25.770s - 95 laps
Schumacher Ferrari 1m27.007s - 73 laps
Zonta BAR 1m28.076s - 37 laps
Lemarie BAR 1m29.491s - 23 laps
