Charles Leclerc, P3 at the US GP: "I was worried when I saw I was the only one at the softs at the start. We tried to gain the free air and gained the position, which helped us for the rest of the race.
"It's been a difficult second half of the year so to be back on the podium is great. I enjoyed it, I lost out at the end but I had fun in the car."
Lando Norris, P2 at the US GP: "Finally, it took long enough! It was a good battle with Charles, he fought hard. It was tough, I thought we had it easier when we had the overcut, and expected an easier second attempt, but it wasn't the case.
"Happy to take second. Out of the box, when the tyres are the freshest, you want to push because that's when they're at their best. But that's the point when they overheat more..."
Max Verstappen, winner of the US GP: "It was an unbelievable weekend for us. I knew the race wouldn't be super straightforward. The pace between myself and Lando was close, but that first stint made it - I could eke out a bit of a gap."
Leclerc gets Ferrari's first podium since Spa, decent result from him - he pays tribute to the team's progression through the Austin weekend.
Tsunoda continues to find reasonable form as he gets seventh place, ahead of Hulkenberg, Bearman, and Alonso.
The carriages on the Alonso train ran out of steam; Lawson fell back, and Stroll couldn't stick with him either. Antonelli, who had that spin early on after contact with Sainz, finished 13th.
Max Verstappen wins the 2025 United States Grand Prix
Easy as you like, as Verstappen clinches victory by 7.9s over Norris - who had to work a bit to get second off Leclerc.
Hamilton reckoned he had a puncture, but keeps Piastri at bay at the close of the lap. Russell finishes sixth.
Final lap
Bortoleto gets Gasly, who's got no grip or pace left. I'm sure that's the battle you all wanted to hear about.
Verstappen comes round to close this out, a comprehensive victory awaits as he's barely had to worry about anyone else...
Lap 55/56
I hope Colapinto's singing "I'm gonna do it anyway" a la Shaun Williamson on the radio now.
Verstappen clears Gasly, now Colapinto is next of the lapped traffic.
Norris is 5.8s up on Leclerc now, which rather demonstrates how much the Ferrari was holding him up.
Lap 54/56
"Both cars are managing, hold positions please," Colapinto is told. "Hold positions? But he's...slow!", the Argentine responds.
Bortoleto backs off to let Verstappen pass, while Colapinto decides he's not going to listen to the team and dunks past Gasly at Turn 1.
Lap 53/56
Verstappen is now cruising to a 8.6s lead ahead of Norris, while Leclerc's already been dropped by 3.3s.
Only now is Verstappen getting traffic; Gasly and Colapinto are having a little battle, with Bortoleto looking to buy into this.
Lap 52/56
"Keep the pressure on, he has three strikes", Leclerc is told. But Norris peels out a 1.3s gap through the esses, and that should seal it.
He just needs to keep it clean - or, alternatively, build up a five-second gap to cover off a track-limits penalty threat.
Lap 51/56
Norris dives past at Turn 1, but Leclerc gets the cut-back and holds the corner!
He's close through Turn 11, but does he have the traction? Down the inside, and gets it - second place is his once more!
Lap 50/56
Norris starts the lap in DRS range, and gets the wing open on the back straight. He's too far back to make it work, and the two cars squirm through the slow corners as Norris tries to stay in touch.
Lap 49/56
Norris is back on Leclerc's six, and aiming to make a proper go of it this time. Too far back this time, but if he can manage the temperatures he might be able to challenge again.
Meanwhile, Piastri has Russell inching closer to him.
Lap 48/56
Norris is closing back in now - 1.8s behind Leclerc. The rest of the top 10 remains well speced out, although Bearman's not miles away from Hulkenberg's tail - the gap about 2.2s.
Hadjar's trying to put a move on Gasly for 16th, but the Alpine driver is defending for all his worth.
Lap 47/56
10 to go, and here's the battle for 10th - Stroll is waiting for Lawson's soft tyres to die and aiming to stay in DRS range to put a move on the VCARB driver. Nothing doing into Turn 12, Stroll just a bit too far back.
Lap 46/56
Will Joseph gives Norris some reassurance that his pace is good - and is told to keep cooling his tyres to push Leclerc late on.
He's picking up the pace a little bit now - 2.2s behind Leclerc.
Lap 45/56
Verstappen is 6.7s clear of Leclerc, so there's not much chance for the Ferrari driver to mount a late bid for the win.
Alonso is hanging on from Lawson and Stroll as he tries to preserve that last point.
Lap 44/56
Norris appears to have properly backed off Leclerc now, stating that he's not got enough grip to charge back.
Leclerc must be laughing - starting on the softs has been a masterstroke.
Lap 43/56
Verstappen is maintaining his lead, but the softs are starting to go - and he's doing his bit to manage them through the final stage of the race.
Norris has dropped back to 2.4s behind Leclerc, with Hamilton 8.9s off.
There might be a battle for a final point here; Alonso has Lawson and Stroll in DRS range.
Lap 42/56
The top 10 looks pretty spaced out at this point. Albon's earlier stop brought Alonso back into the top 10, but he's 8.9s behind Bearman, who in turn is 2.2s behind Hulkenberg.
Lap 41/56
Norris is told to let his tyres cool, so he's backed off now.
Verstappen maintains his 6.7s lead, as he's just managing his own tyres at the moment.
Lap 40/56
"Tyres are gone," Norris reports. He's staying with Leclerc, but the car's sliding around quite a lot.
"Lando complaining about tyres now," Verstappen is told, as Lambiase tells him to think about management.
Lap 39/56
The answer is no - Norris sheds some time in the opening sector at the start of this lap. Still, Verstappen's 'only' seven seconds up the road.
Hamilton is over nine seconds behind the battle for second, while Piastri is standing firm over Russell still.
Lap 38/56
Norris has closed Leclerc quite a lot now, and sits within half a second at the end of this lap. Can he maintain it through to Turn 12?
Lap 37/56
Norris is giving those kerbs a very wide berth as he reels in Leclerc - knowing that one more excursion will cause a five-second penalty.
Can we just have some grass please?
Lap 36/56
Norris is closing Leclerc down once again, but if it's like last time it'll be like this for a few more laps.
Bearman has stabilised a bit now after that slide, and is aiming to close Hulkenberg down again. Albon pits from 10th, having decided he can't go to the end on those mediums.
Lap 35/56
Hulkenberg makes the most of the situation to get past Bearman and claims eighth.
The top 10 order is currently Verstappen, Leclerc, Norris, Hamilton, Piastri, Russell, Tsunoda, Hulkenberg, Bearman, Albon.
Lap 34/56
Good effort from Leclerc, who's cut the gap down to 5.8s. Norris is a further three seconds back.
Bearman, having stopped, is now back on Tsunoda's tail...but Tsunoda checks up at Turn 15 and Bearman has to brake to avoid him. This brings Hulkenberg into play here.
"He moved under braking," Bearman reports, aiming to get the stewards to take a look.
Lap 33/56
Verstappen will respond to Norris and will stop. Soft tyres for the McLaren, and it'll be softs for the Red Bull too.
Russell will also stop, so we'll see how far behind Leclerc and Norris are in a moment...
Hulkenberg also pits from fifth.
Lap 32/56
Antonelli pits, which brings Albon up into the top 10. Albon can go to the end on his tyres, if he can keep them alive.
Norris pits from second, not a stellar stop but it's not a hugely slow one. Leclerc gets the undercut.
Lap 31/56
Piastri pits for softs, which lets Russell go. 25 laps to do on those tyres, which will be a challenge.
Tsunoda clears Bearman, as Lawson also pitted to clear the decks. Hamilton makes his stop and comes out behind Hulkenberg - and crucially, ahead of Piastri.
Lap 30/56
Tsunoda takes the soft, and comes out in 11th - ahead of Antonelli. Lawson, his old friend and ally, is just ahead.
"Russell is within undercut range, would you prefer to pit first or let him go?" Piastri is asked. He opts for the former to evade an undercut, and he'll come in at the end of this lap.
Lap 29/56
"Thoughts on a soft to get to the end?" Piastri is asked, who responds it might be difficult. Those on mediums are aiming to extend their stints.
Tsunoda gives Leclerc a bit more to think about as the Ferrari comes through to pass him, but can't fight him off. The Red Bull driver duly pits.
Lap 28/56
Bearman doesn't fight Leclerc too much either, which brings the Ferrari back up to seventh. Leclerc's been given the command to lift and coast, presumably to keep the plank safe.
Norris is slowly catching Verstappen again, the gap now 10.4s.
Lap 27/56
"The tyres are starting to get a bit tricky," Verstappen reports; race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase suggests the conditions are changing.
Russell is starting to catch Piastri again, as the Australian is now over four seconds behind Hamilton once more.
Lap 26/56
Leclerc has the magnets on and cruises past Hulkenberg, who doesn't really force the issue there.
Stroll's gone a long way on the softs, he's still circulating in 12th on the same set of red-walled tyres.
Albon puts a nice move on Colapinto, who just about holds on through Turn 12 - but Albon threads the eye of the needle and gets through at Turn 15.
Lap 25/56
Verstappen continues to maintain a 11-second vigil at the front.
Hamilton is now five seconds behind Norris, with Piastri three seconds behind the Ferrari.
Leclerc is slowly bringing his tyres in and has now caught Hulkenberg.
