Jarno and Fisi offer Monza prize

Jarno Trulli and Giancarlo Fisichella have joined forces with the GPDA and Monza to provide fans with the opportunity to visit the paddock at the Italian GP

It's a follow-up to the similar promotion inspired by Mark Webber in Melbourne, when the lucky winners had the chance to meet Michael Schumacher and other top drivers in the pitlane.

From Monza's pre-race test onwards pins will be sold at the Italian circuit for 5 euros apiece. Four lucky winners will be chosen from a draw, and invited to get a closer look, thanks to passes provided by Bernie Ecclestone.

The two drivers have opted to split the proceeds between their two favoured charities.

Jarno is supporting the Associazione de Martino, which was created in memory of a friend of his who was killed in a road accident. The organisation works in various countries in Africa.

Because of his love of children Giancarlo has chosen London's Great Ormond Street Hospital, with which he has forged a close relationship.

At Silverstone he met two of the patients who were huge motor racing fans. Five-year-old Tarun Sethi (see picture) was told he had leukaemia just three weeks ago and is having an intensive course of chemotherapy.

The Sauber star also met Symon Bradshaw, aged 11, who was on a life support machine just two weeks ago having had major heart surgery. The latter was very proud of the fact that the valves in his heart are now made from the same material that Ferrari use for parts of their cars!
