Gordon Ramsay to cater F1’s pit garage hospitality offering at 10 races

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has signed a partnership with Formula 1 to supply food for the championship’s pit garage hospitality suites at 10 2025 races.

F1 has regularly used a pitbox at races since the 2022 season as an additional hospitality area for people willing to pay to watch sessions from near the pitlane entrances or exits – depending on the track in question.

Now, this suite will be supplied with dishes created by motorsport fan Ramsay and “his team of executive chefs” – per an F1 statement – that guests can enjoy alongside what F1 calls “a distinctive selection of drinks that complement the exceptional dining experience”.

The 10 races that will have F1 pitlane hospitality this season are the Miami, Monaco, Montreal, Silverstone, Monza, Austin, Mexico City, Vegas, Losail and Yas Marina races.

In 2024, the F1 garage at the Las Vegas GP was rebranded as “Ramsay’s Garage”, which featured live cooking stations, a menu from his Lucky Cat restaurant chain and appearances from Ramsay himself.

“My passion for F1 is well known but it’s the complexity and pace of the cars, and the talent of the many people building and controlling them, that appeals so much,” said Ramsay.

“In many ways F1 is like a high performing professional kitchen, so this is the perfect partnership for us and our growing international restaurants group.

“We’re excited about what we can offer the F1 garage guests and we can’t wait to get to the starting line in Miami this May.”

F1 does not list prices for the garage hospitality on its official website, but prices for a three-day pass to access the suite were reported to have cost $30,000 for the 2023 Abu Dhabi GP, while at the 2024 Vegas race the cost was $35,000 plus taxes and fees.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali added: “We are thrilled to begin such an exciting collaboration with a world-renowned chef like Gordon Ramsay.

“F1 Garage is a one-of-a-kind experience in our sport, offering fans unparalleled access inside the world of Formula 1.

“Our vision is to offer premium F1 hospitality through a unique journey not only on the track, but also at the table, with standards of excellence that reflect the passion and soul of our sport.

“We cannot wait to begin this joint venture entirely dedicated to our guests, which will see them enjoy an unforgettable experience, starting from the Miami GP.”

RB and Yard Sale offer a pizza the US and F1 75 action

Elsewhere, the RB team has today announced a tie-up with the London-based pizza company Yard Sale.

It is creating an F1-themed pizza box decoration and as part of this is offering customers a competition entry with the chance to win an “all-expenses-paid-for race weekend in the US for the new season, as well as tickets to the sold out F175 Season Launch event at the O2” – according to an RB statement.

The competition is running from Thursday until 17 February, although stocks of the boxes are limited.
