OK, so it won't race until the French GP, but here it is anyway. 1) New nose is similar to that introduced at the Nurburgring to the MP4-19. 2) The chassis is slightly higher, matching the higher engine (6). This will give the engine a greater dry sump capacity. The sidepods (3) are very similar to those of Ferrari (inset) while the radiators (4) are the same as on the MP4/19 and are not of the lay-down variety used by some teams. Aerodynamically, the rear of the car (5) is different and the rear suspension (7) is totally new.
McLaren had this new wing very similar to that featured on the new MP4/19B. The nose cone drops and has a very short wing support.
Ferrari had this new front wing endplate (the old one is the inset) that's very similar to that used by Renault and Williams last year. It is less curved than the old one and the inner horizontal plate is different, with a distinctive cut-out shape.
The Renault R24 was born with a low nosecone and short wing support (2), rather like that of the 2003 Williams, with the central part almost flat (1). There was a curve in the side end plate (3), slightly twisted to the inside, like the McLaren MP4/18 with a small gurney flap (4) at the back of the end plate. It proved too unpredictable because of pitch sensitivity and was replaced by the old R23 nose.
