Dennis not travelling to Malaysia
McLaren team boss Ron Dennis has warned not to jump to any conclusions about his future after after revealing he will not be in Malaysia next weekend
The Briton's future at the team was in doubt for some months following their troubled 2007 season, but Dennis confirmed this month that he had no plans to retire.
But Dennis, who recently announced his split from his wife, will not be travelling to the Malaysin Grand Prix next weekend, although for reasons not related to Formula One.
The team boss warned not to read anything into that and confirmed he will travel to all the remaining grands prix of the season.
"I won't be in Malaysia. I am telling you now," Dennis told reporters. "I have to be in England for something that I would rather not be in England for, but that is life. So it is nothing to do with F1.
"So when you don't see me in Malaysia, don't jump to conclusions - I will be at all the other races."
