Button Confident of "Great Things"

Briton Jenson Button is confident he has the right strategy for a strong result in tomorrow's United States Grand Prix

Button will start from third place after another good qualifying performance following his pole position at the Canadian Grand Prix last weekend.

In Montreal, however, the Briton crashed out when he looked set to score his BAR team's first points of the season.

"It is nice to get two good qualifying on the trot but it was not the best lap," Button said. "I struggled a lot with very low grip so it's great to be third and I think we can do great things from here. Our strategy is a good one."

The Briton, who will start behind Jarno Trulli and Kimi Raikkonen, said he had not suffered any problems with his Michelin tyres despite the concerns ahead of the race.

Button is hoping there will be no problems tomorrow either.

"There are a lot of talks that need to be made this evening between all the teams and all the drivers and Michelin," added Button.

"At the moment and going into qualifying we just need to be looking forward to the race and being very positive that we will race tomorrow and I am hoping that there are not going to be any issues and we can go out there and have a good race."

Button's teammate Takuma Sato finished in eighth place.
