Brazilian GP weather forecast
The job of a weather forecaster is a fairly thankless one - ask Michael Fish. No one appreciates your hard work when you get it right, but as soon as you get it wrong the criticisms fly faster than the Force 8 you predicted to hit Little Petherick last Tuesday
Which is why forecasters would no doubt very much enjoy predicting the conditions for Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix. With a chance of showers, cloudy spells and maybe even sunny intervals, there is something for everyone, and chances are forecasters should get it right at least some of the time...
Free practice on Friday should be unaffected by rain, but in qualifying and in the race itself there is a 50 per cent chance of showers, so we may be in line for our second successive wet race of the season.
As in Malaysia, atmospheric conditions could affect tyres and engines - 83 per cent humidity is forecast throughout the Grand Prix weekend. And of course, the heat will have a stamina-sapping affect on the drivers as they cope with Interlagos' bumpy, anti-clockwise track. Temperatures could get up to 31 deg C on race day.
Partly cloudy; High 27 deg C, Low 18 deg C
Cloudy/chance of showers/sunny intervals; High 29 deg C, Low 18 deg C
Cloudy/chance of showers/sunny intervals; High 31 deg C, Low 20 deg C
