Barcelona day 2 am: Testing update

Jarno Trulli continued to top the timesheets on the second morning of testing at Barcelona (today). Once again the Italian was the only driver to break into the 1m19s, recording a best lap of 1m19.719s, about three tenths slower than he went yesterday

After an enforced lay off following his huge smash at Valencia last week, Giancarlo Fisichella returned to the cockpit of the new Jordan and set the second best time. He covered a total of 30 laps in the EJ12, recording a time of 1m20.524s.

Enrique Bernoldi was just a few tenths off Fisichella in the promising new Arrows and the Brazilian managed 34 trouble-free laps in the morning session. Minardi's Mark Webber was less fortunate. The Australian stopped on track during his installation lap in the PS02 and did not run again.

Testing continues this afternoon.
