Excitement is building in Melbourne for the 2025 Formula 1 season-opening Australian Grand Prix this weekend.

So, Autosport’s Filip Cleeren and Emily Selleck are live from Albert Park’s Melbourne Walk to round-up the first media day of the forthcoming campaign.

Plenty of topics arise, with particular focus on the hometown heroes of Jack Doohan and Oscar Piastri. Fil and Emily discuss how they are dealing with the pressure of a home race, in what is Doohan’s first Aussie GP, while Piastri stands a good chance of becoming the first Australian to win the grand prix since it joined the F1 calendar in 1985.

The rookies are also mentioned, with this season featuring a staggering six. So, catch all of that and more in the latest Autosport podcast.
