Brendon Hartley and Sergey Sirotkin have pitted and taken softs during this caution.
The frontrunners are all in grid order apart from Vettel and Bottas who have switched places.
Grosjean explains that crash on team radio: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm OK. I tried the outside, Kevin lost it a bit, then I got dirty air and that's it."
"Big crash. Massive crash. A Haas spun. I cannot believe it," said Gasly on the radio.
There was already congestion through the first complex as Fernando Alonso appeared to have a wobble and Carlos Sainz Jr went into the gravel briefly, then Grosjean lost it at Turn 3 and slewed across the track.
Hamilton holds the lead as Vettel sweeps past Bottas at Turn 1.
Pierre Gasly also hit Grosjean's car in that really nasty accident.
It looks like Grosjean spun the Haas at Turn 3 and was collected heavily by Nico Hulkenberg.
Trouble in the middle of the pack - Romain Grosjean has heavy damage.
All the cars are away safely as Hamilton leads the pack around.
Starting tyres: Used softs - Hamilton, Bottas, Vettel, Raikkonen, Verstappen, Ricciardo, Magnussen, Sainz, Grosjean. Used ultrasofts - Alonso. New softs - Gasly, Ocon, Leclerc, Perez, Stroll, Sirotkin, Hartley. New mediums - Hulkenberg, Ericsson.
Red Bull has laid down the law to its drivers after their Baku mutual annihilation act, so let's see if they can behave themselves starting alongside each other on row three.

Toro Rosso's Brendon Hartley missed qualifying after a monster crash in final practice. He will start at the back after a car repair and engine change job.
Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will start from the first all-Mercedes front row of the grid after setting the pace in qualifying yesterday.
