Monaco GP final practice and qualifying

At the bottom, the less-than-proud steward of the wooden spoon is George Russell - and this was a bit of a bogey circuit for him in F2 last year, failing to finish either race.
Hamilton's third quickest, ahead of the Red Bulls, as Giovinazzi, Kvyat, Magnussen, Raikkonen and Albon complete the top half of the field.
After Mercedes' control of Thursday practice this session has really set the cat amongst the pigeons in the fight for pole. It looks like we genuinely have three teams in contention.

Vettel's looked quicker than Leclerc here so his early crash is a setback, but he could launch himself into the forefront of the fight if he's not dented his confidence (as well as his Ferrari). And like Thursday, we've not really seen a true reflection of Verstappen's pace. So expect Red Bull to leap into the mix.

Here's a look at the theoretical best times from FP3 (based on each driver's fastest sectors) for proof:

Bottas: 1m11.162s
Leclerc: 1m11.265s
Verstappen: 1m11.270s
Hamilton: 1m11.444s
That's the chequered flag, bringing an end to FP3. Charles Leclerc tops the session, 0.053s ahead of Bottas!
Last orders then, with just a minute on the clock. Giovinazzi pops into the top six, wedging in between Gasly and Kvyat.
Our top ten is: LEC, BOT, HAM, VER, GAS, KVY, HUL, RIC, GRO and VET.
Less than ten minutes to go!

(or should that be fewer than ten?)
Lance strolls into the run-off at Sainte Devote, bringing out a yellow flag with 10 minutes to spare. He dives left to avoid the wall, locking up heavily...but he's back on the road.
Magnussen was on a good lap, but encounters a hatful of traffic at the Rascasse. Not quite as much as yesterday's F2 race, but still enough to force the Dane to back off.
Fellow Renault powertrain users McLaren, however, aren't; Sainz is P14, Norris P17. So, no Sainz of pace at the moment...
There's Hulkenberg going 0.03s quicker than Ricciardo - Renault showing some encouraging signs of pace.
Renault is showing some of its hand now - Ricciardo's into P6, proving he's more than just a joker in the pack. Are these laboured gambling metaphors doing anything for you, or should we just cash our chips now?
Monaco isn't just one of Hamilton's water breaks, he's really pushing to close the gap. Water way to have a good time.
Leclerc has gone quickest with a 1:11.265! There's no place like home...
No further news on Leclerc's investigation. By law, Monegasque citizens aren't allowed to gamble in Monaco - and he'd definitely rolled the dice a bit under the VSC.
Phwoar! Kvyat swings the back end out at Portier and just gives the barrier a cursory smooch as he attempts to evade a Racing Point on the tunnel entry.
Lance Stroll has managed to block Leclerc considerably in the tunnel, much to the consternation of everyone at Ferrari.
Leclerc's under investigation for a VSC procedure infringement. It may not be raining, but it's pouring at Ferrari...
Bottas goes quickest once more, leaping into the 1:11s with a 1m11.835s.
Vettel does the walk of shame back to the pitlane. His red helmet, a Niki Lauda tribute, looks stunning with his Ferrari race suit. Can that be a forever thing?
Verstappen stabs home a time good enough for second, as Gasly pops up to P4.
That's a 1m12.034s for Hamilton - Merc looking pretty imperious already.
The #5 has been cleared and the session's back up to full speed. We won't be seeing Vettel go out again in this session.
"Front left's gone" reports Vettel, before apologising for his accident.
The VSC has been called, as the marshals extricate Vettel's stricken Ferrari. He seems to have just locked up and earned a one-way ticket to the barrier.
That's a 1:12.238 for Bottas, as Vettel gets within 0.3s of the Finnish ace.
Bottas posts a 1:12.764 - but immediately, he's looking quicker. Yikes.
"Vibrations on the front" reports Hamilton, still not entirely happy with how the Mercedes W10 is responding.
