Hamiltion bangs in another fastest lap of 1m22.539s and is now 8.7s ahead of Vettel.
"It's all happening now," Hamilton is told by Mercedes.
Bottas also goes from ultrasofts to softs, he manages to get out in fourth ahead of Magnussen.
Ricciardo is right with Sainz - a Turn 1 attack is probably coming.
Mercedes reacts to Ferrari's pitstop and brings Bottas in from second.
Raikkonen goes from ultrasofts to softs, but there's a slightly sticky rear wheel and he falls to sixth behind Gasly and Magnussen.
"Next one, Sainz," Red Bull tells Ricciardo. That's for seventh.
Hamilton does another new fastest lap of 1m22.783s and gets his lead up to 6.5s over Bottas.
And Ricciardo has passed Hartley for P8 at, you guessed it, the inside of Turn 1 with a late move.
Some team radio has revealed that Perez was ordered to give Ricciardo a place back, for overtaking the Red Bull off the track at Turn 6 in the opening laps. Both drivers unhappy with what happened - in shock twist.
Ricciardo attacks Hulkenberg at Turn 1 and takes ninth - that's a bit of a Ricciardo specialty, the late move into the right-hander.
Vettel does his best lap of the day so far, but it's still a couple of tenths slower that what leader Hamilton did at the same time.
Lap 11 of 70 now, and Hamilton's lead is up to 5.5s over Bottas, 7.3s over Vettel and 9.1s over Raikkonen.
Next up for Ricciardo: Nico Hulkenberg, who is just 1.6s ahead of the Red Bull driver in ninth.
An unimpressed Raikkonen is quizzing Ferrari over whether his drinks supply is working. The team admits it isn't. That's going to be tough in the boiling hot weather.
Ricciardo is homing in on Grosjean - he's now just 0.6s behind the Haas driver's 10th place.
The closest scrap in the field is between the Force India drivers - Perez, on ultrasofts, is just 0.5s behind Ocon, who is on softs.
Gasly is already eight seconds behind Raikkonen in fourth place.
Ricciardo passes Alonso for 11th at Turn 1 - Alonso thinks about a fightback but has to give way.
Alonso says Grosjean may have passed him at the VSC restart - "I was right on the delta, so I don't know," he says.
With the VSC quickly cleared, the lead group is now: 1 Hamilton; 2 Bottas +3.8s; 3 Vettel +5.4s; 4 Raikkonen +6.8s
Ericsson moved onto the medium tyres, which Stroll, now 17th, is also using.
We'd love to bring you what Verstappen said about that problem, but the radio tirade had so many words bleeped out there was nothing left to transcribe.
Verstappen was accelerating out of Turn 1 when his Red Bull-Renault suddenly faded.
The virtual safety car is deployed while Verstappen's car is tidied away.
Verstappen parks his car, race over for the top Red Bull after just five laps.
"No power, no power!" reports Verstappen and he slows dramatically form fifth place.
