There's wing damage for Bottas, who falls to fourth behind Raikkonen straight away.
Vettel had tried to the outside at Turn 1, then cut across and made it through into Turn 2 but he gets a hit from the Mercedes as he completes the move.
Vettel and Bottas make contact as Vettel finally makes it through at Turn 2!
Williams tells Stroll his "Rear tyres are ok" - "No, they're not!" he snaps back. "Check the stability out, how are they ok?" Tense stuff two laps down and the very rear of the field.
Ricciardo is setting his best times of the day so far, but at 12s behind the Bottas train he won't have time to get involved with seven laps left.
Vettel gets very, very close to Bottas under braking for Turn 1.
"How fast can you go in clean air?" Ferrari asks Vettel. "About 1.5s faster," replies Vettel.
Vettel is closer than ever to Bottas but still cannot find a way past.
"How's Valtteri doing with those tyres?" asks Hamilton. "He's hanging on in there and doing a really good job," replies Mercedes.
In the scrap for the Class B win, Gasly's lead over Magnussen in sixth place is down to just 5.7s, which is still healthy, but it was over 10s a little while back.
Hulkenberg has now dropped back to 2s behind Ocon, so no fight for P12 just yet. Devastating news.
And while all his chasers queue keep behind each other, Hamilton is cruising around with an 18s lead.
Bottas now has both Vettel and Raikkonen right behind him with 10 laps to go.
"Bottas reports he is starting to lose rear tyres," Ferrari tells Vettel.
Even if Vettel can get past Bottas, Hamilton is now 15s clear in the lead with 14 laps to go.
Bottas tells Mercedes the rear tyres are still in trouble now.
"Vettel and Bottas are very close together, just 7s ahead of Raikkonen. He will catch those cars" - that's Red Bull's 'everyone else' update for fifth-placed Ricciardo, who's 17s behind Raikkonen.
Hulkenberg, who stopped for fresh ultrasofts under the VSC, has passed Perez for 13th at Turn 1.
Raikkonen is absolutely flying behind Bottas and Vettel too, now just 5.3s behind them.
Bottas is on 38-lap-old softs, Vettel on 14-lap-old ultrasofts and they're nose to tail with 16 laps left.
"You never told me it was going to restart," complains Raikkonen. "It was very quick," is the reply. He's 8s behind the Bottas/Vettel fight.
Hello again Vettel, he closes to within DRS range of Bottas once more. Seventeen laps to go...
Ferrari's heartbreak moment - Bottas sweeps past as Vettel rejoins third

Ferrari's heartbreak moment - Bottas sweeps past as Vettel rejoins third

Vandoorne's exit has promoted Sainz to ninth and Grosjean to 10th.
"I lost drive - no drive - it seems like the gearbox is gone," Vandoorne reported as he slowed heading onto the pitstraight. McLaren confirmed that that was indeed the issue.
With the gaps resettling after the VSC, it now looks like this: 1 Hamilton; 2 Bottas +12.6s; 3 Vettel +13.9s; 4 Raikkonen +23.0s; 5 Ricciardo +37.4s
That's a real shame for Vandoorne - he was on for ninth, right behind team-mate Alonso.
Mercedes gets ready in the pitlane just in case a stop is the right move in this VSC moment, though it's not clear why it would be.
