Nervy final two minutes here as the drivers in the elimination zone - Bortoleto, Hulkenberg, Ocon, Gasly and Tsunoda - are on out-laps and with something to prove.
Antonelli rockets round with two purple sectors and a green - he's P2, 0.104s off Norris. So that lap must have got away from him in the final sector.
Lando Norris now P1 with a 1m29.932.
Antonelli, Tsunoda, Gasly, Ocon and Hulkenberg are the drivers at risk.
In-car footage from Antonelli's car indicates that he only came upon Sainz where he did because he had gone flying over the run-off at Turn 1...!
No further action on the Sainz-Antonelli investigation.
Piastri has a clean-looking lap but it's 'only' 1m30.440s - P6 for now...
THE DOOR IS HADJAR
Isack Hadjar rockets to the top of the timesheets with a 1m30.214s!
ARISE FERRARI
Hamilton and Leclerc now P2 and P3.
Carlos Sainz 'noted' for impeding Kimi Antonelli, who had to abort his lap and is currently without a time.
Bearman's first flying lap is good for P2! 1m30.420s. George Russell posts a lap worthy of P3, 0.192s off Verstappen.
VERSTAPPEN TO P1
1m30.317s is now the time to beat as Max Verstappen posts the fastest time yet. Early days though as this track evolves.
1m30.562s for Lewis Hamilton on his second attempt at a push lap, that's good enough for P2.
Frustration for Oscar Piastri as he has to abandon his first push lap when a car ahead gets out of his way by taking to the run-off at Turn 1, but that triggers a yellow flag. Judging by his team radio, Oscar and Shania Twain are in accord.
1m30.958s by Esteban Ocon in P15 was effectively the elimination threshold for Q1 here last season.
Lando Norris has just gone P1 with a 1m30.572s.
Lewis Hamilton has to abort his first push lap after running wide at the exit of Turn 1.
WE'RE OFF!
And you'll be delighted to know that Liam Lawson is leaving the Racing Bulls garage in his freshly repaired car. Great job by the mechanics to reassemble that after Liam smote the wall earlier.

HAMILTON ESCAPES PENALTY
Lewis Hamilton was under investigation for a suspected infringement of red-flag procedures but he's been given the all-clear. Jake Boxall-Legge has applied finger to keyboard to explain why.

WHICH F1 CIRCUIT WOULD YOU REPLACE?
On the subject of historic tracks, in this month's Autosport magazine the topic of the 'great debate' was which track from the annals of history you would bring back.
I said we should bin off Las Vegas pronto and bring back Watkins Glen. What do you think?
HOT IN THE CITY
And with this gratuitous Billy Idol reference – if you like them, we've got more, more, more – we introduce the other (ahem) hot topic of the weekend, that of the FIA declaring a Heat Hazard because temperatures were forecast to exceed 31C.
This means drivers are obliged to wear the new cooling vests or carry ballast. There is talk of this being compulsory next year but, would you believe it, not all the drivers like the idea and Max Verstappen is head of the queue to complain.
He doesn't sweat much, apparently. Perhaps Prince Andrew missed his vocation as an F1 driver!

In case you missed it, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has raised a bit of a ruckus by saying that history "isn't enough" to keep classic tracks on the F1 calendar.
IT'S QUALIFYING TIME
Welcome back to Marina Bay, where night has fallen and we're nearly ready to go in qualifying. What a session this promises to be. Has Red Bull finally conquered its bad Singapore mojo? Max Verstappen's pace in FP3 seemed to suggest that – but the margins were fine...
