Aston Martin is looking good: Stroll went up to P4, as Vettel currently sits in P7.
Bottas posts a 1m45.506s lap to go top, half a second quicker than Hamilton.
Leclerc doesn't appear to be going out, and Latifi has done one install lap and returned to base. We believe the Williams driver is changing power units, so will cop a penalty.
In comes Hamilton to drop a 1m46.096s lap, which is what we now call P1.
And Gasly posts a 1m46.671s, despite apparently having "no f***ing grip".
Once again, Gasly's going to reward us with our first hot lap in this part of the session.
We know the 107% rule isn't used in the wet, but I had a calculator next to me and I was curious. I'm curious like a cat, that's why they call me Whiskers.
According to our quick and rudimentary maths, Mazepin's 1m53.764s is outside the 107% time of Hamilton's timesheet-topping 1m45.992s.
A Turn 2 incident between Stroll and Ricciardo will be investigated after the session.
Eliminated in Q1: 16. Raikkonen, 17. Schumacher, 18. Giovinazzi, 19. Mazepin, 20. Verstappen.
Neither Giovinazzi or Raikkonen can knock Russell into the drop-zone, and Williams driver goes quicker regardless to go P11!
Norris moves up to P5, keeping him further away from the dropzone.
Raikkonen nudges Russell into the drop zone, but the Williams driver returns the favour.
Bottas now does a 1m46.396s to go top, nudging Perez to P2.
The dropzone is currently Raikkonen, Schumacher, Giovinazzi, Mazepin and Verstappen with just a minute and a half left.
Vettel moves up to P5 briefly, before Gasly knocks him down a place.
Bottas reclaims a place from Alonso on the timing board, moving up to third.
Alonso now posts a 1m47.990s to go P3, splitting the Mercedes duo.
Perez goes up to top spot, logging a 1m46.455s with a nice slipstream into the first corner from Mazepin.
Bottas had a brief off at Turn 2, sailing into the run-off on that lap.
Alonso had been trawling around during the first part of the session on wets, but has now finally switched to inters. He's currently P18, in the dropzone with Russell, Giovinazzi, Schumacher and Verstappen.
Stroll went up to P3, but Leclerc now goes 0.3s faster than the Aston Martin driver. Verstappen, meanwhile, looks to be calling it a day without a time on the board.
Hamilton now throws down the gauntlet with a 1m46.937s to go fastest, with Bottas on a 1m48.100s.
That's a spin for Giovinazzi, almost picking off Leclerc at Turn 16! He manages to get it facing the right way eventually, and heads off on his merry way.
Gasly now does a 1m49.218s to go fastest, as Sainz goes P2 with a 1m49.736s.
Improvements coming thick and fast in this opening part of the session, so bear with us...
Leclerc posts a 1m50.292s to go over a second faster than Gasly. Sainz goes P3 on a 1m52.0s.
Tsunoda and Raikkonen both set 1m55s, so they're probably not quite happy with tyre grip at this point.
Gasly's going to kick us off with the first flying lap, with Tsunoda following.
Everyone's on track, looking to get a lap in for the record books.
Here's your reminder that Leclerc and Verstappen are going to the back of the grid for tomorrow's race - power unit changes are afoot.
Gasly and Tsunoda are first on the road - and yep, it's intermediates.
