DRS is enabled and Kimi Antonelli, who got by Lewis Hamilton on lap one, is being challenged by Lewis for P12.
George Russell keeps hold of P3 so Lando Norris has got a face full of Petronas logos. Esteban Ocon pits at the end of lap one to take on hards - suspected contact with the Alpine of Franco Colapinto.
AND IT'S HAPPENED IMMEDIATELY
Max Verstappen appears to make a slightly slower initial launch than polesitter Oscar Piastri but he makes a lunge into the Tamburello and it sticks!
Everyone starting on mediums apart from Hamilton (P12), Antonelli (P13), Hulkenberg (P17), Bearman (P19) and Tsunoda (pits) on hards.
In terms of available tyres, everyone has two sets of new hards except Lando Norris, who has just one (and one used), and the Aston Martin drivers, who have none (and one used each).
Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll also have no new mediums, having used them in qualifying, and George Russell is in the same boat.
As usual we're having a giggle at Pirelli's 'possible race strategies' graphic, which inevitably turns out to be miles from what actually happens. Who will actually try a two-stopper here at Imola (medium-hard-hard, windows laps 12-18 and 34-40)? One of the longest pitlanes on the calendar and a time loss of 28s on a good day.
One-stopper is predicted to be medium-hard, stopping laps 19-25, or hard-medium, stopping laps 38-44.
In other news, Williams was investigating a suspected fuel leak on Alex Albon's car but has concluded there isn't one. Fuel if you think it's over?
Something we need to tell Alex - wearing a baseball cap backwards reduces your IQ by 50%.

And the first of our 'matters arising' is Yuki Tsunoda, who will start from the pitlane after having a heavy shunt at the Villeneuve corner during qualifying yesterday.
As you can see below, what's left of his car came back in a bag, so Red Bull has built up a new one overnight with a new tub, hence the pitlane start.

WELCOME TO IMOLA
It's race day and if this is to be the last grand prix on this popular track, the weather has delivered. Bright sunshine and blue sky with just a few little fluffy clouds.
We've just been treated to a stirring rendition of the Italian national anthem, one of the most evocative of its genre.
