"We cannot fix the problem in this session," Gasly is told. He's going to have to live with his issues, like the rest of us.
"I feel like I'm destroying the engine" says Gasly, still concerned about the Honda powerplant in the back.
Investigations going into Albon's front wing, hunting for damage.
As it stands, Leclerc, Russell, Albon, Ocon and Latifi are set to depart from Q2.
Gasly's finally on track, and elevates himself to ninth to send Leclerc into the drop zone now.
Neither Red Bull driver seems happy, as Verstappen complains of a sudden shift to understeer in his car. Meanwhile, Albon's stuck in P12, and in the drop zone.
Racing Point's times were set on mediums, so they need to find a little bit more as they slide down the order a touch.
Bottas posts a time just 0.26s off of Hamilton, with Vettel taking third spot for the time being.
Norris then turns up to the party with a 1m15.203s, just 0.06s from Sainz, but Hamilton casually goes a second quicker with a 1m14.261s.
It's a 1m15.296s for Stroll, a shade faster than team-mate Perez.
Russell does a 1m15.698s to set the initial pace, then.
Ignore that, Latifi's out on track. Gasly, however, is still a no-show.
We're away for Q2, then, and Russell's first on the road.
According to the watchful eye of our Grand Prix editor Alex Kalinauckas, a Turn 6 incident between Sainz and Giovinazzi has been noted. We don't know what happened then, though - possibly a blocking incident.
Winding up for Q2, then - what will conditions be like this time?
Italy 2018 was the last time both Williamses made Q2 - and both drivers Stroll and Sirotkin scored points in that race.
Hamilton set the fastest second and third sectors - but Perez's mighty sector one meant that he's quickest in Q1.
Latifi managed to make it into Q2, so that's BOTH Williams cars into the second part of qualifying!
Eliminated from Q1: Magnussen, Kvyat, Grosjean, Giovinazzi, Raikkonen
But the Haases can't improve either, and nor can Raikkonen! They're done.
Giovinazzi can't climb out of the drop zone, as Kvyat also goes into the drop zone.
Vettel goes P4, and Albon goes P7 before Norris and Sainz enter the top five.
The Racing Point duo is back in the pits, having thrown down the gauntlet.
It's happy hour! "That's a lap, that's a lap" Russell says. He's elated with that effort.
Perez goes fastest with a 1m14.681s, beating Stroll by two tenths.
Gasly reports a power unit issue in his AlphaTauri - and that's not the first time this weekend.
Giovinazzi goes P18, finally setting a time. It's...it's a time, at least.
Kvyat puts Russell in the relegation zone with his lap, despite a T2 lockup.
Grosjean goes up to P13, Magnussen P16. Albon and Russell are the men on the bubble.
"I just have no stability at all", Albon says over the radio - the Red Bull's looked a handful all weekend.
The Haases are now doing more competitive laps, having been mired in the drop zone for the first part of the session.
Ricciardo drops a 1m16.111s to go P6, ahead of Verstappen's Red Bull.
A few spits and spots of rain, which might add a little bit of extra intrigue here.
Drop zone so far: Latifi, Raikkonen, Grosjean, Magnussen, Giovinazzi.
Ocon went P9, with Ricciardo P12 - which becomes P13 as Russell goes 12th.
