In terms of race strategy, Pirelli expects this to be a two-stopper, with all drivers starting on softs or mediums before switching to the hards. Out of the frontrunners, only the Red Bulls and Ferraris have two sets of hards, so they've got greater flexibility over McLaren, Aston Martin and Mercedes.
Away from the live track action for a moment, F1 is set to discuss a new points structure that could be introduced from as early as 2025. Full story here.

There is a real meeting of worlds on the Chinese GP grid right now, as F1 chief Stefano Domenicali introduces 7 foot, 6 inch former NBA star Yao Ming to fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger.
That means Tsunoda will be the last car on the starting grid and then it is Hamilton who has held his hands up at his Q1 mistake at Turn 14 costing him big time. It is another part of the horror start to 2024 for the future Ferrari driver.
One change to the grid from qualifying is Sargeant, who will start from the pitlane after changes to both the front and rear wings of his Williams. Given he qualified last anyway, having spun off on his final Q1 run, it isn't a huge penalty.
The sprint race and both qualifying sessions have given us a big clue to how this race may unfold, with some intriguing battles up and down the grid. Here's what Saturday's action told us about the upcoming Chinese GP.

Verstappen, who else, was first out of the blocks aiming to mirror his dominant Saturday double of the sprint race win and grand prix pole position. He is strong favourite to win again, but there is a handful of rivals looking to upset the odds.
Goooooood morning one and all! The pitlane is open in Shanghai which means the cars are on their way to the grid for the Chinese GP! What a lovely day for it.
