The Full Montreal, then, as Albon's car strips off. That's been noted by the stewards, as they might feel Albon should have pitted.
Albon's Williams disrobes on the back straight
Alex Albon's in trouble here, as his engine cover has just...ruptured. The bodywork just shattered on the approach to Turn 13 and poured all over the circuit.
Red flag. Bit of a reprieve for him as they scramble to bolt on a new engine cover.
Alonso is now top, with a 1m12.239s on the mediums. The lack of grip here between sessions is interesting - it seems that, even though we've had F1 Academy and other supports running, the track doesn't stay rubbered in.
It's like imaginary wet weather isn't it?
Leclerc moves up to second, 0.161s behind Piastri, before Hamilton goes to P2 himself.
That's then all null and void, as Verstappen set a 1m12.273s to go top. Still a second down on the pace from FP3.
Tsunoda given 10-place grid drop
And we get the Tsunoda news - it's a 10-place penalty for the grid in this race, as he overtook Piastri under the red flag.
Oof, I think is the word.
Norris up to third, 0.122s off Russell's best. Piastri then goes top with a 1m12.332s, as Stroll drops into second - 0.185s behind.
Very strange in these early stages - the order's a bit all over the place, which is fun, but it's just nice to know why!
Alonso goes third, 0.003s behind Stroll.
Stewards' report: No further action taken against Bortoleto for a potential red flag infringement. Nothing on Tsunoda yet - he was the other driver under the microscope.
Russell gets to the top with a 1m12.574s, as Antonelli is just 0.06s behind. More pace to come, certainly.
Bearman gets a snap at Turn 1 and ends up skipping across Turn 2. Hamilton does the same thing, and both follow the race director's escape road orders.
Gasly opens with something moderately representative in a 1m13.787s, although Tsunoda then goes half a second quicker. Drivers finding that the tyres might need a build lap in addition to the outlap yesterday, so let's see if anyone switches their boots on immediately...
Gasly, Colapinto, and Antonelli are starting out on the mediums, hoping it gives them a slight edge here.
Sainz kicks us off with a 1m20.916s, which might not really count as a time - Norris did a 1m11.7s earlier on.
Q1 is open for business
Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon are first to hit the road, in front of a packed Turn 2 grandstand.
18 minutes to escape the bottom five - your time starts now.
Had a couple of messages that the leaderboard was a bit shaky earlier on - any further issues, just refresh the page and it should be hunky-dory. Obviously, no times will appear until someone actually does one...
At least it's not the olden times, where we had to get a separate person to type it out manually! Imagine being the person who did the lap charts in the '70s and '80s, no wonder 1973's Canadian GP was so difficult to sort out...

10 minutes to go until qualifying
Who's the bet for pole? Norris was top in FP3, but Russell's been looking like a contender - and Ferrari has found some pace too. But you can't discount Piastri and Verstappen either, even if their weekends have been muted so far...
Piastri's FP3 wall-bang
The championship leader got quite lucky with his brush with the wall, with no real damage beyond a puncture.
30 minutes until qualifying at Canada
The question is very much this: which tyres are going to be best? Logic would dictate that the C6, the softest compound, will offer more - but a few teams may well try the C5s to cause an upset.
After all, the delta between the two compounds are slim - about 0.1-0.2s per lap, but the C5s may hang on better over a lap.
Le Mans 24 Hours updates
If you're wondering what's happening in Le Mans land, follow along below - just as long as you're back here for the start of qualifying, of course!
Ferrari's 1-2-3 has currently been put on ice as the #51 has just come in to stop; the #50 leads from the AF Corse #83, although the leader will be in on the next tour.
Summons for Tsunoda and Bortoleto
Both Yuki Tsunoda and Gabriel Bortoleto were given orders to visit the stewards' office after apparent red flag infringements in FP3.
We are currently awaiting the outcome of that; Bortoleto was 19th overall in the order, while Tsunoda had a brake issue and only did 14 laps - he was at the bottom of the timesheets.
FP3 recap
Lando Norris put McLaren on top for the first time this weekend, after extracting a 1m11.799s from his car - a stark improvement after what he called McLaren's "worst [Friday] of the year".
He was just 0.078s clear of Charles Leclerc, who was on the pace immediately despite missing FP2 due to his shunt in the opening practice session.

Norris' team-mate Oscar Piastri came to blows with the Wall of Champions, knocking his rear-right tyre off the rim - the shattered remains of his wheel cover produced a brief red flag to clear the debris.
Piastri was able to get going again, with no apparent damage to his suspension or gearbox.

F1 Canadian GP coming up!
And hello again - or, welcome, if you're joining us for the first time this weekend. Just an hour to go until qualifying at Montreal begins for this year's Canadian Grand Prix - and if FP3 is anything to go by, it should be a close one!
