Two minutes to go and Alonso, Hadjar, Stroll and Verstappen are yet to post a time – but currently on ramp-up laps.

Piastri starting another push-lap. He needs to deliver here or he'll have at least two Mercs to pass tomorrow.

Norris goes faster again, 1m09.243s. Piastri is faster than his previous lap but not enough to beat his team-mate – or Antonelli! P3 for Oscar.

We're going to have to dial through the onboards because something has gone wrong for Verstappen. Purple in sector one but it went south for him in sector two.

Alonso will start ahead of Verstappen tomorrow in P5.

Norris on pole by 0.097s from Antonelli. Piastri will line up third, Russell fourth. And it's likely to be a wet race!

Behind Alonso and Verstappen we have Stroll in P7, 0.428s off sprint pole and currently under investigation for impeding. Then Leclerc, Hadjar and Hulkenberg round out the top 10.

"A good day today, but a long weekend and it's only Friday," says Norris.
