Air temperature is a frigid 13.3 degrees C, with track temperatures slightly higher at 15.6.
The track looks fairly dry-ish, but still plenty of fans (and how good it is to see them back) are wearing anoraks and jackets with hoods up, and the sky looks ominously grey. FOM tells us that the risk of rain for FP3 is 90%.
This weekend, everybody is talking about Michael Schumacher - and for good reason, since it is the 30th anniversary of his F1 debut in the Belgian GP with Jordan. His son Mick is using a special commemorative helmet this weekend, which I'm sure you'll agree is one of the best we've seen this year.

But it wasn't just in 1991 that Schumacher Sr made his mark on Spa - a six-time winner, he is still the Spa master, as Damien Smith recounts: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/how-schumacher-became-the-master-of-f1s-ardennes-wonder/6655019/
Verstappen was the second driver to cause a red flag in FP2 after 2019 Belgian GP winner Charles Leclerc. Ferrari announced this morning that the Monegasque has a new chassis for today after causing too much damage to his original SF21 to be repaired in time: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/ferrari-changes-leclercs-f1-chassis-after-belgian-gp-fp2-crash-damage/6655155/
If you need a reminder of what happened yesterday, then look no further. Here's our report from FP2, as Max Verstappen went fastest for Red Bull before crashing: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/f1-belgian-gp-verstappen-fastest-in-fp2-despite-late-crash/6654627/
We've just had the conclusion of the weekend's first of three Formula 3 races, and there's a little over 20 minutes until Free Practice 3 for the Belgian GP gets underway.
Good morning and welcome to Autosport's live coverage of Formula 1 action from a rather soggy Spa Francorchamps.
