In the danger zone currently are Ocon, Giovinazzi, Albon, Ricciardo and Perez - the latter three with no times on the board yet.
Hamilton heads Bottas, Norris, Sainz, Verstappen, Gasly, Leclerc, Kvyat, Stroll, Vettel in the top 10 with seven minutes to go.
Verstappen is complaining his medium tyres "completely dropped off towards the end".
Ricciardo has also had his lap deleted for the same offence, promoting Vettel to 10th.
But Albon has had his lap deleted for track limits abuse.
Norris is third on his first lap, Albon goes to fourth on the medium tyres.
Bottas moves into second after his first lap, with Sainz slotting into third.
Both Ferraris and both Mercedes drivers have gone for the mediums.
Split strategy at McLaren, with Sainz on the medium tyre and Norris on the soft.
Giovinazzi's lap was significant as it means he wins the Alfa Romeo qualifying battle for 2020 ahead of Raikkonen.
Russell apologises on the radio, saying "tyres were just nowhere". What a difference a week makes.
Out of Q1 are: Raikkonen, Magnussen, Russell, Fittipaldi and Latifi.
Hamilton tops Q1 at the death with a 1m35.528s, but looks like he used another fresh set of softs for that run.
Russell puts in a 1m38.049s but stays 16th. Team-mate Latifi spun in the last sector just before Russell flashed through.
Quite a few cars remaining in the pitlane. Verstappen, Perez, Albon, Stroll, Sainz and Ricciardo have remaining in their garages.
Russell heads off for one final flying lap to try to get to Q2. He's been struggling with the Williams overheating its tyres.
Verstappen's first lap was bad because his hand got stuck out of the cockpit at Turn 6. Quite a bizarre thing, but no matter as he's pretty safe into Q2 in second at the moment.
Verstappen lifts himself up from 10th to second, 0.294 seconds behind Bottas with five minutes to go.
Currently in the drop zone are Magnussen, Fittipaldi, Russell, Latifi and Giovinazzi, who hasn't set a time.
Latifi got the rear of his Williams a little out of shape at the penultimate corner. He's last of the 18 drivers who have set times.
Hamilton has stayed out on his current set of tyres to try and get a legal lap in.
Eight minutes of the session to go and Bottas leads Perez, Albon, Stroll, Sainz, Verstappen, Norris, Leclerc, Gasly, Kvyat.
Hamilton: "Check the floor, I might have some damage". He ran onto the sausage kerb at the penultimate corner, which is why his lap was scrubbed.
Hamilton has had his lap cancelled for exceeding track limits.
Hamilton and Bottas trade top spot, with the latter firing in a 1m35.699s.
The pitlane incident between Verstappen and Latifi is under investigation.
Though that's immediately beaten by Albon with a 1m36.106s.
Verstappen has flatspotted his front right tyre having locked up in the pitlane in reaction to another car being released in front of him.
