Approaching the final hour with Maldonado and Verstappen still on hour... rephrase that, with Verstappen on track and Maldonado pitting, here's a round-up of data.
Maldonado's times continue to improve again as he does a 1m27s now. Verstappen remains on track too on his long 1m30s/1m31s medium-tyre run.
Maldonado back up to a 1m28s on that lap, while Perez has ended his latest run on mediums.
Maldonado is still out on his softs, but doing 1m29s - 4s off his recent new personal best.
Just a sharp burst from Red Bull, as Ricciardo comes back into the pits.
Two and someone occasionally rummaging in the built-in boxes for things.
Pitwall crowd watch: Whatever Toro Rosso is doing requires nine people on the perch, Red Bull's programme just requires two.
Indeed both the Lotus and Red Bull are definitely on the yellow-walled soft tyres.
Verstappen's pace is more sedate - 1m30s for the Toro Rosso.
Maldonado is flying too, up to third on a 1m25.751s, half a second off Raikkonen. Looks like he was on softs too, but we'll triple check...
Ricciardo shoots to second, 0.3s off Raikkonen, but he's used softs to do it.
And we're also getting a first sight of Maldonado and the Lotus for a while.
Perez is back out too. Nice of them all to make the track action a bit more interesting again.
As Verstappen begins with a 1m30s, the sound of a Red Bull returning can be heard too.

Here's our story on the doubts surrounding Nico Rosberg's participation in testing tomorrow for Mercedes:

Rosberg a doubt for Friday running
Verstappen spends a while sat in the Toro Rosso revving expectantly with tyre warmers on, then sets off for a run.
Ricciardo's run ends, another short blast of five laps including out/ins.

Ricciardo finds more time on his medium tyres on this run and gets down to a 1m26.921s. That's still 1.754s off Raikkonen's pace.
Good news Sauber fans. The team tweets that it is working hard to repair the C34, following Felipe Nasr's off-track excursion earlier this afternoon, and is hopeful it can get the Brazilian back out on track soon.
Ricciardo resumes running in the Red Bull.
Verstappen's run was only short as well, and he also made a very slight improvement, getting down to a 1m27.900s and staying sixth.
As one Renault run ends, another begins - Verstappen gives the Toro Rosso its first outing of the afternoon.
Ricciardo is now back in, so that was a three-lap run on mediums, averaging 1m27.3s.
Now Ricciardo improves again, with a 1m27.270s that edges him ahead of Nasr into third.
The Red Bull is out on medium tyres, and does a 1m27.5s on its second flying lap.
Ricciardo does start this run with an improvement though, a 1m27.324s is 0.04s better than his previous best. He stays fourth.
Meanwhile, back on the circuit, Ricciardo is out in the Red Bull. Nothing approaching a long run from this car again today.

* Kimi Raikkonen leads the way for Ferrari with a best time of 1m25.167s.

* McLaren may not be able to run a full programme until Saturday as Honda needs to redesign an MGU-K component.

* Lewis Hamilton completes just 11 laps before abandoning his running through illness.

* Mercedes recalls Pascal Wehrlein from Force India to replace the 2014 world champion; Sergio Perez in for the German.

* Pastor Maldonado causes two red flags in the Lotus but returns to set the fifth-best time.

* Susie Wolff and Felipe Nasr end up in the same gravel trap at the same time after contact, bringing out the red flag.

Confirmation from Mercedes that the reason Wehrlein was recalled from Force India to replace the unwell Hamilton was because Rosberg has an inflamed nerve in his neck that he's still recovering from.
That rapid lap from Raikkonen was the second of his run, after a slower build-up. Perez is out again too.
Raikkonen does the best final-sector of the day so far, but the overall lap is just a touch off his best, a 1m25.344s.
After that brief silence, Raikkonen rejoins the track.
There was plenty of chat about iconic Formula 1 lids yesterday, following the news drivers will be banned from changing helmet designs in-season from this year.

Well today, Perez is sporting a “very ninja-esque” look in a carbon fibre black effort. What do you think? Is it a keeper?
