Giovinazzi ends his stint after that decent last effort, meaning Gasly has the track to himself.
No he doesn't, the Alfa man was just doing another practice stop. You'll have to share, Gasly.
Albon heads back out on the C3 to make it three cars on track.
Giovinazzi actually stops this time, and is wheeled back into the garage.
Here’s the lap count at the morning session’s halfway point:

Magnussen, 39
Hulkenberg, 35
Giovinazzi, 33
Hamilton, 31
Gasly, 29
Albon, 28
Norris, 23
Stroll, 23
Russell, 21
Leclerc, 20
Albon begins his first lap of this stint while Gasly's first real time of his run is a 1m19.364s.
It's a 1m19.287 for Albon that time around, roughly a second off his best on the same compound.
Albon comes back in too now, meaning Magnussen and Norris are alone on track.
Norris sets the fastest second sector of anyone on track and improves to 1m17.513s.

That keeps him second and just 0.017s off Hulkenberg.

Both set their quickest times on the C5.
Magnussen's driven past the window and we can see his unmarked tyres.
Magnussen sets his personal best in the first sector of this run.

Stroll heads out on track.
Good improvement for Magnussen there, he leaps from ninth to fifth with a 1m18.199s effort.
He made up almost half a second on his previous benchmark in the first two sectors alone.

Meanwhile, pacesetter Hulkenberg heads out on track as Stroll flies by on the C3.
This morning has certainly been more about short performance runs than the longer drives.

That said, the likes of Magnussen and Hamilton have completed runs of around 10 laps at times this morning.
Stroll's short-but-sweet run comes to an end.

Albon's driven past our viewpoint on the C3s.
Albon goes top. His time is a 1m17.408s, an improvement of 0.156s pushes him ahead of Hulkenberg.
Russell's also back on track and is using the C4s, Williams is noticeably using the softer compound more this morning.
Russell's first flyer is a 1m19.343s, just a tenth off his best.

The red-walled tyre pace is looking a bit stronger from Williams, with the usual caveats of things like fuel loads applying.
But he loses a bit of time in the second and third sector and sets a 1m17.758s lap.
Norris uses the C5 tyre to good effect to return McLaren to the top.

His 1m17.084s time is nearly four tenths up on Albon's old benchmark.
Russell is again lapping fractionally slower than his 1m19.232s best.
Hamilton's stint is currently up to four laps, and he is on the harder C2 compounds.

This could be another longer run for Mercedes. The pace has been in the low 1m20s too.
Russell comes into the pits, leaving Hamilton and Magnussen on track.

But then Albon and Stroll join the fun.
Magnussen's another on a good run, he's up to 12 laps now we reckon. Latest tour was a 1m21.860s.
Albon's gone fastest of all in the first sector, again.

Good Toro Rosso v McLaren performance run battle here.
Albon improves on the C3, but it's not enough to go top.

It's a 1m17.426s, which is a smidgen quicker than his last fast time.
