We took a closer look at Vettel's tyres on that run and stand corrected. Looks like the C5 was fitted to the Ferrari after all.
Sainz does a 1m22.989s on his first timed lap on the harder C2 tyre.

And the Ferrari jumps to the top of the times for the first time today with a 1m16.352s. We reckon that's on the C4 tyre, too.

Perez is in after that short run, but Sainz is back out on track in the McLaren.

Perez appears to be on the C5 as he flashes past our media centre viewing point, while Kvyat has also gone back out on a set of one of the red sidewalled C4 or C5 compounds.
A more consistent run of laps for Bottas now, who does a third consecutive 1m19s lap.
But Perez then makes some noise at the end of the pitlane and heads back out, so ignore us.
Back to the pits come Raikkonen and Kvyat, so it's just the Mercedes out on track now. This is the quietest it's been for some time.
A high 1m17s becomes a 1m18s on the next lap for Bottas, who then dips into the 1m19s on his latest effort.
