Bottas back on track now in the Mercedes.

Cars on track in 2018 - here's our current pacesetter (in a not very representative way) Kimi Raikkonen in the Ferrari

While there's a pause, and because you only need to look at Autosport Live rather than listen to it, worth checking out the latest edition of the Autosport Podcast - which evaluated the 2018 designs from Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren as well as looking ahead to what to expect from this week's test:

Raikkonen, Ericsson and Hulkenberg all pit, so the track is now silent. Still just that one, very leisurely time from Raikkonen on the board so far.

Here's Ericsson's Sauber heading out to start the day (Sutton Images)
Hulkenberg heads out in the Renault for the first time.
The track resurfacing has made the surface of the circuit a lot less bumpy than before. Having had the chance to see the Renault running on its filming day on Saturday, it was clear that the big bump that was on the entry to Turn 1 before has been smoothed out. It's expected that the track changes could easily be worth a second a lap compared to previous years.
Stopwatch
First time of the week from Raikkonen - a 1m58.273s.

Ricciardo returns to the pits after his install lap, followed by Alonso. Raikkonen's Ferrari has an aero rake on it as the Scuderia focuses on straight-line aero testing.

Hartley, Bottas and Grosjean all return to the pits after their installation laps. Ricciardo and Alonso have headed out, joining Raikkonen and Ericsson.

An early change to the week's line-up already, Force India reserve Nicholas Latifi has been sidelined by a "serious infection":

Raikkonen isn't far behind in the Ferrari, which had its filming day here yesterday.
Hartley, Bottas, Grosjean and Ericsson are all straight out onto the track.

And we're green!
The 10 minute delay is, we're told, due to a team request. The session will end at 1310 local time before the afternoon running gets underway at 1400.
Information
It's worth noting that this will be the first time F1 cars will have sampled the resurfaced Barcelona track, which was carried out over the winter at the behest of MotoGP.

And Sauber's trucks have got a little more Alfa-y on top

Everything is a little bit more orange at McLaren this year

There's probably more pressure on Renault as an engine supplier than anyone going into this test given the troubles it has had during the V6 hybrid era.
With McLaren now on board, the Renault works team aiming to move up the grid and Red Bull wanting to fight for the championship, it needs the engine to be reliable and to perform well.
It has done a lot more dyno work than in previous years and is focusing on getting miles in to start with before getting more performance out of it, so we need to see plenty of distance covered by those three teams in this test.

A major story yesterday was the revelation that Renault's engine will start 2018 at the same power level as the end of '17 rather than making any immediate progress, as the firm wants to prove reliability with engine one before bringing upgrades:

Haas also held an unveiling this morning, though it had already shown the world its 2018 car by becoming the first to issue images of its new design a day before Williams back in mid-February.

There was also a first official look at the Toro Rosso-Honda, which was revealed in a picture from its shakedown last week but displayed properly here:

Plenty of activity in the pitlane this morning already as the final previously-unseen car was unveiled, as Force India's now even pinker look broke cover:

Good morning, welcome to Autosport Live and happy new Formula 1 year. We're 20 minutes away from the start of 2018 pre-season testing.
