Bottas quicker again. Gap is down to 2.8s in the battle for sixth.
Mercedes asks Rosberg for another fuel read-out from the dash. He obliges, but adds "it really annoys me to do that, so we need to stop doing that now."
"Copy that, Nico," is the polite reply.
"Copy that, Nico," is the polite reply.
Bottas significantly quicker than Hulk on that last lap. Gap between the two is 3.1s.

Pirelli, usefully, adds: "'The cliff' is not a real cliff (or anything to do with Cliff Richard). It means sudden tyre degradation, where performance drops off."
Maldonado is through for 14th.

Pirelli reckons the race hasn't quite settled yet:
"As always in China, the final laps are going to be crucial. Drivers will have to look after tyres and not fall off 'the cliff'"

EDD STRAW: "Rosberg's challenge now is to chase down and pass Alonso. His tyres are four laps younger, so there's an advantage there, and the car clearly has superior pace. Has plenty of laps to make up the 5.6s gap and from a championship perspective, important he salvages second place."
The gap between Alonso and Rosberg for second place is now 5.6s.
Hamilton duly pits with 18 laps left. A smooth stop.
Magnussen right on the back of Vergne for 12th, and the Dane is quicker.
Mercedes calls Hamilton in for his last stop and promises his front wing will get a clean.
Ricciardo rejoins still comfortably ahead of Vettel.
Stopwatch
Vettel does get fastest lap now on a 1m42.169s.
Once again, leader Hamilton is running further than anyone else on a set of tyres.
Ricciardo also pits with 19 laps to go.
Rosberg locks up at Turn 11 and goes right on the run-off area. That prompts him final pitstop.
Gutierrez and Maldonado scrapping over 14th.
Vettel is taking a second per lap out of Ricciardo though, with 28.2s between them and the Australian still to make his last stop.
Not quite, Vettel is 0.051s slower than the race's current best, and only gain 0.3s on Alonso.
Vettel's pushing now on fresh tyres, though. Might take fastest lap with this one.
Remember Vettel led Alonso before the first stops and rejoined right behind him. They're now 16.3s apart after the champion's tough stint.
Alonso and Vettel are the only frontrunners to have made their second (and hopefully final) stops. They're fourth and fifth behind Ricciardo.
Massa into the low 1m42s as well, but he's still buried at the back, behind Kobayashi.
After Alonso's stop, Mercedes is in one-two order for the first time today, but Hamilton is 18s clear of Rosberg.
Raikkonen currently the quickest of the midfield, but he's 14.5s behind Bottas.
Alonso is setting his best sector times of the race so far on his out-lap as he pushes in the hope of having a gap over Rosberg when the Mercedes pits.
Vettel finally makes the pitstop that he wanted a while ago.
The Caterham rejoined ahead of the Red Bull on the road but nearly a lap behind, yet lapping briskly as it's just pitted.
Vettel is annoyed at Kobayashi: "Are you kidding, honestly? Tell him to get out of the way! He's got new tyres, of course he's quicker. But in two laps he'll be off."
A rapid 2.8s stop by Ferrari. Alonso now has medium tyres and 22 laps to go.
Alonso pits at the end of lap 33 for his second tyre change.
Maldonado pits from 13th.
Stopwatch
Perez sets a new fastest lap with a 1m42.228s.
As does Vergne.
Raikkonen, Kvyat, Magnussen and Massa all make stops.
Mercedes tells Rosberg to "push hard to pass Alonso". That feels like an unnecessary instruction...
Mercedes tells Hamilton it's seeing a bit of rubber build-up in his front wing so not to worry if he feels understeer developing.
Mediums for both Hulk and Bottas. Force India looked a little quicker in the pits.
Ricciardo is lapping faster than both cars ahead but is 7s behind.
Kobayashi has also made a second stop.
