1 min: Medium tyres for all four drivers on this run, as Ricciardo crosses the line to start a timed lap.
1 min: Di Resta, Vergne and Maldonado all join Ricciardo on the circuit.
0 min: Ricciardo is straight out onto the circuit in the Toro Rosso.
The remaining 16 drivers that have progressed now face the next task. They have 15 minutes to try and secure a slot in the top 10 shootout.
Maldonado was able to nail a good lap together at the end to safely progress, but no joy for Bottas today. He ended up 18th.
Bianchi reported: “Too much understeer on the second run.”
Sutil and di Resta had a close call but Force India makes it through by two-tenths of a second with both cars.
Raikkonen, Maldonado, the casual stayed-in-the-pits Webber and Massa, along with the two Force Indias are also through.
Good news for the other Sauber of Hulkenberg though. He eases his way through to qualifying in 10th after a dismal Friday.
That will be a huge disappointment for Gutierrez who has been quick all weekend in the Sauber but couldn't hook it up when it mattered.
An entertaining first segment at the royal park and here is the list of those who didn't make it after Q1:

17) Gutierrez 1m25.226s
18) Bottas 1m25.291s
19) van der Garde 1m26.406s
20) Pic 1m26.563s
21) Bianchi 1m27.085s
22) Chilton 1m27.480s.
Rosberg’s crew is told to wrap the tyres in blankets: “This set of tyres is going to go again in Q2.”
Bottas completes his last effort but it is only 18th for the Finn. He is eliminated.
Maldonado is 17th and looking to pop Gutierrez here. He does it! 12th for the Venezuelan with 1m24.905s.
Rosberg is told: “You’re P2 with that time, you’re fine”
At the sharp end, Rosberg has jumped up to second spot, while Ricciardo is up in sixth after recent improvements.
Grosjean was told to keep pushing, but he replies: “That’s too late, that’s too late, I was in the braking.”
The qualifying period has ended. Cars that have already started a lap may complete it.
19 min: That's both Williams drivers in the dropzone with little time left to do anything about it.
19 min: Gutierrez gets himself up to 16th by 0.002s at the expense of Maldonado.
18 min: Bottas improves but he only moves up one place and is still in the dropzone in 17th spot.
18 min: Gutierrez starts another flier after cooling down. He's in the drop zone in 17th.
18 min: Sutil also improves in the other car. His 1m25.161s lap puts Gutierrez squarely back into 17th position.
17 min: Di Resta moves up to 14th spot with 1m25.184s, bumping Bottas into 17th.
17 min: Gutierrez is told to go quicker: “We need at least another three more tenths.”
17 min: Button emerges from the garage and is told he's losing time in the final sector.
17 min: Both Force India drivers now in trouble. They are on a timed lap on medium tyres, trying to fight their way out of danger.
16 min: That effort from Gutierrez is slightly slower than this morning, but we've seen rapid laps at the second and third time of asking on the mediums.
15 min: Vettel then continues on for a second hot lap and he moves to the front with 1m24.319s.
15 min: Up front, Hamilton takes over with a time of 1m24.589s.
