Lap 9: Hamilton is warned that this weather could last for 30 minutes.
Lap 8: Massa is eighth with Rosberg ninth, Karthikeyan 10th, Hulkenberg 11th, di Resta 12th and Raikkonen in 13th place.
Lap 8: Hamilton is the leader from Button, Perez, Webber, Alonso, Vettel and the sole intermediate runner Vergne.
Lap 8: Heavy rain continues to fall as the pack circulates slowly behind the safety car.
Lap 8: Senna comes into the pits from 22nd place and rejoins to catch up the queue of cars behind the safety car.
Lap 8: More weather from @MyCaterham: "Massive thunderclaps overhead and more rain is on its way." @Clubforce concurs: "Plenty of action so far in a very wet Sepang. Thunder booming all around and it's only lap 6. P11 for Hulk and P12 for Paul."
Lap 8: Vergne, Karthikeyan and de la Rosa are the only three drivers that didn't come into the pits for full wets.
Lap 7: The pack has formed up behind the safety car and the race has calmed down after that explosive opening few laps.

Lap 5: Grosjean has beached the Lotus and he is unlikely to get out of there.
Lap 5: Raikkonen is holding onto eighth but dropping away from Maldonado ... and we have Grosjean in the gravel!
Lap 4: Full wet rubber is looking more appropriate now as forecasters warn of increasing rainfall.
Lap 4: Marussia has pitted Glock and Pic on the same lap.
Lap 4: Massa takes on a set of full wet tyres and rejoins the race.
Lap 4: Massa comes into the pits from 10th place in the Ferrari.
Lap 4: Rain is still falling and the track is certainly getting wetter around the pits.
Lap 4: They are excited down at @MyCaterham: "KOV up to 14th at the end of lap 2 - 10 places in 2 laps...."
Lap 4: Schumacher is up to 13th and has just passed Kovalainen's Caterham.
Lap 3: Replays at Turn 4 show that Grosjean slid wide exiting the corner and into Schumacher. Both spun and are recovering through the field.
Lap 3: Hamilton looks to have a handle on these conditions at the moment and leads by 1.6 seconds into the third tour.
