Lap 20: Rosberg, Vettel, Raikkonen and Webber are a closely-matched group from fourth to seventh as the DRS becomes available.
Lap 19: Senna makes a hash of his move against Kobayashi at Turn 4 and Ricciardo takes advantage to grab 14th place.
Lap 19: Kobayashi in 13th is being attacked by Senna, with Ricciardo holding a watching brief.
Lap 19: Button is almost four seconds per lap quicker than Maldonado and he should have the Williams by the end of this lap.
Lap 19: Alonso's lead is up to 3.3 seconds over Perez, with Hamilton making no impression on the Ferrari-powered pair ahead.
Lap 18: Button is quickest on the road, clocking a lap of 2m00.936s. He is now 20th.
Lap 18: Di Resta and Vergne are engaged in a huge scrap for ninth. The Scot is hanging on for the moment.
Lap 18: Rosberg is told to look after his intermediates, with the Mercedes team expecting no further rain.
Lap 18: Maldonado has lost out heavily again and is down to 20th with Button 21st after that incident.
Lap 18: Perez has good pace at the moment and has pulled away from Hamilton and closer to Alonso over the last lap.
Lap 17: Schumacher is 13th and hasn't managed to make the huge progress that Raikkonen and Lotus did during that round of stops.
Lap 17: Alonso's lead is clocked at 2.4 seconds after profiting from the delay at Hamilton's stop, having come into the pits behind the McLaren.
Lap 17: Behind the top seven we have Massa in eighth with di Resta ninth and Vergne 10th. Hulkenberg is 11th ahead of Kobayashi.
Lap 17: Vettel is next to flash past the pits, tailed by Raikkonen and Webber.
Lap 17: Rosberg is fourth on the road after his early move to intermediates.
Lap 16: Hamilton is third on the road and is now chasing down Perez.
Lap 16: Alonso has grabbed the lead for Ferrari after diving past Perez thanks to the decaying full wets on the Sauber.
Lap 16: The nose is replaced on Button's car, as Vettel also completes a late stop after radio problems in the Red Bull.
Lap 16: The order is a complete jumble at the moment with Pic showing as high as eighth place before coming in for his stop.
Lap 16: Hulkenberg pits from seventh and everyone in the top 13 has now stopped.
Lap 15: Button has been in contact with Karthikeyan's HRT and Hamilton is now past his team-mate.
Lap 15: Alonso is the top car on intermediates after a great Ferrari stop.
Lap 15: Michael Schumacher had hauled himself up four places to 11th on that first racing lap before pitting.
Lap 15: Perez continues to lead on full wets from Vettel, Vergne, Hulkenberg and Pic - all yet to stop.
Lap 15: Another rash of stops at the end of the first racing lap after the resumption. Massa, di Resta, Maldonado, Schumacher, Ricciardo and Kovalainen are all in.
Lap 15: It's a poor stop for Hamilton and he resumes after a delay in pitlane traffic. He's behind Button and Alonso.
Lap 14: Hamilton heads the pack down the back straight and heads straight into the pits.
Lap 14: Karthikeyan is up to eighth with di Resta now ninth and Hulkenberg 10th.
Lap 14: Vettel is then very wide at Turn 8 and is now coming under pressure from Massa.
Lap 14: Webber doesn't like that and comes back at his Red Bull team-mate.
Lap 14: De la Rosa drives straight through the pitlane and back out onto the circuit, having served his penalty.
Lap 14: Hamilton leads from Perez and Alonso as Vettel dives past Webber into Turn 4.
Lap 14: Rosberg, Raikkonen, Kobayashi, de la Rosa, Petrov, Glock and Senna all come straight into the pits.
Lap 14: The safety car comes into the pitlane and we are racing once again.
Lap 13: Hamilton sprints away while Perez piles some pressure on Button.
Lap 13: Round Turn 14 and Hamilton leads the pack down the penultimate straight as he builds a gap to the safety car.
