Lap 37: Perez takes another second out of Alonso and the leader looks to be getting towards the end of the life of his tyres.
Lap 37: A drying line continues to develop, while Webber is warned that the approaching shower is getting close to the track.
Lap 36: Button finally gets the job done and is through on Massa to take over 16th place.
Lap 36: Hamilton remains third for McLaren, over 15 seconds behind leader Alonso.

Lap 36: Another fastest lap from Perez as he closes to 4.9 seconds behind Alonso. What a drive this is from the Mexican.
Lap 36: Great scrap! Massa and Button are side by side once again into Turn 1 and Ricciardo has caught back up to this battle for 16th.
Lap 35: Button slices up the inside but has to back out of it at the last moment. The pair are battling hard now.

Lap 33: Di Resta is doing a great job in seventh. He is consistently edging away from Vergne and has the gap up to 3.8 seconds.
Lap 33: Vettel is running a lonely fourth, slowly dropping further behind Hamilton but well clear of the battle between Raikkonen and Webber.
Lap 33: The last time another Mexican driver other than Perez ran second in grand prix was 31 years ago, when Hector Rebaque held the position for Brabham, behind his team-mate Nelson Piquet.
Lap 32: Kobayashi in 11th posts the fastest lap of the race so far with 1m57.450s. In the process he pulls a full 3.3s away from Schumacher.
Lap 32: Perez takes the fastest lap and shows no sign of fading on an extraordinary drive so far in his Sauber.
Lap 32: Meteo France expects that shower from the north-west to reach the circuit in a few minutes.
Lap 32: Button has passed Glock and is up to 18th place.
Lap 31: Webber is warned of a possible shower as he closes on Raikkonen in the fifth-place Lotus.

Lap 30: Personal best times across from all the top runners as the track conditions continue to improve.
Lap 30: Schumacher is 11th and two seconds behind his fellow German, with Kobayashi 12th. Maldonado is up to 13th having just passed Petrov.
Lap 30: Di Resta is seventh but 6.1s down on Webber, with Vergne eighth, Senna ninth and ahead of Hulkenberg, who is 10th.
Lap 30: Perez had a slower tour last time around, with Hamilton closing slightly thanks to a 1m59s pace.
Lap 29: Button posts another fastest lap and is almost five seconds per lap quicker than Glock, with five seconds between them.
Lap 29: Leader Alonso is now seeking out the wetter parts of the front straight but he is still setting a strong pace in the Ferrari.
Lap 29: Massa brings the Ferrari in. He was clearly struggling with those tyres and is back out in 16th place.
