Lap 42: Lotus could have forced McLaren into three stops by an earlier switch for Grosjean, but seem to have opted for a more conservative approach.
Lap 42: Karthikeyan is in and that hands 23rd to Glock for the time being.
Lap 42: Hamilton and Grosjean are now on medium rubber and have clearly backed out of a change to three stops.
Lap 42: Kobayashi is another to stop. He was 16th.
Lap 41: Rosberg is in next from 10th place. He rejoins and will charge to make sure he can at least get a few points this afternoon.
Lap 41: A great pitstop sequence for Hamilton and McLaren there as he retains track position over Grosjean.
Lap 41: Pic pits for his second stop from 21st place.
Lap 41: Hamilton is down and away on medium rubber and resumes well clear of Grosjean after a quick stop.
Lap 41: Di Resta is flying on his new tyres. He rejoined in 13th but has just posted the fastest sector times of all in the middle and last portions of the racetrack.
Lap 40: Hamilton sets his personal best middle sector as he dives into the pits.
Lap 40: Webber has also been in for a set of soft tyres.
Lap 40: Grosjean will need to push on now, while Hamilton will surely react with a stop.
Lap 40: Di Resta has been into the pits as the race gets busy. Hulkenberg is in one lap later.
Lap 40: A roll of the dice from Louts, but that looks like a two stop plan.
Lap 40: Grosjean makes his next stop from second place, fitting medium compound rubber.
Lap 40: Ending up boxed behind Senna proved a terrible blunder from McLaren.
Lap 39: Petrov and Pic are fighting on track for 20th and cause concern as the Senna versus Button battle comes into Turn 1.
Lap 39: Vettel resumes and he's clear of Senna and Button on the road.
Lap 39: Vettel is next in the pits, taking medium compound.
Lap 38: Raikkonen is now eying getting past the delayed Button as well, rapidly drawing up on the rear of Vettel.
Lap 38: Kovalainen comes in for his second stop from 17th place.
Lap 37: Button is looking for a move on Senna but this is very costly for the McLaren man.
Lap 37: Raikkonen now sets the fastest lap at 1m26.365s. He is now 3.2 seconds behind Vettel.
Lap 37: Schumacher regains 19th as the Russian blasts out of the pits.
Lap 37: This could be a strategic blunder from McLaren, who could have waited a bit longer to see what Vettel was going to do.
Lap 37: Petrov pits this time round from 19th position.
Lap 36: Replays coming through of Perez running wide slightly at Turn 11. This happened before Ricciardo's stop. He continued without problem.
Lap 36: Senna is seventh, with Button right behind in eighth and this is surely going to cost him track position to Vettel if he doesn't get past.
Lap 36: Vettel, now released, sets the fastest lap - with Button boxed up behind Senna and not making progress.
Lap 36: Perez moves through into 14th and Kobayashi inherits 15th as Ricciardo drops down the order.
Lap 35: Hamilton is now being told of the need to switch to "plan B" - seemingly a three-stop.
Lap 35: The battle for 14th is another that continues unabated. Ricciardo is holding off Perez, but now it changes as the Australian pits.
Lap 35: Button resumes behind Senna, which could prove a problem.
Lap 35: Button pre-empts any Vettel move to three stops with his own pitstop to go to softs.
Lap 35: Webber is told he is basically racing with Alonso and Senna.
Lap 34: Schumacher pits from 18th place and rejoins back behind Vergne. He is down to 20th and failing to recover after a dismal start to the race.
Lap 34: Button continues to hold off Vettel as the pair work through the lapped traffic.
Lap 34: Senna in eighth is gradually continuing to lose ground behind Webber, but it is only one or two-tenths per lap. The gap is 3.3s.
Lap 34: Lotus could stop fairly soon on a three-stop plan, which would put McLaren into a bit of a bind as Hamilton plans to run long on his mediums
Lap 33: Grosjean continues to tail Hamilton but has been off the circuit a couple of times in recent laps.
