Lap 34: With Kobayashi out of the mix for now, it means Rosberg is up to seventh with Alonso eighth, Massa ninth, Hamilton 10th and Perez 11th.
Lap 34: Raikkonen gets his first attempt on DRS, closing right in on Vettel.
Lap 34: Kobayashi rejoined in 15th place after his second stop.
Lap 34: Di Resta finally heads in for a second stop and must be planning a run to the flag from here.
Lap 35: The Force India rejoins in 13th place, still some distance ahead of Kobayashi.
Lap 35: That stop from di Resta puts Rosberg up to sixth, with Alonso seventh and Massa eighth.
Lap 35: @Lotus_F1Team: "Gap now 0.9 from Kimi to Seb; Hello DRS and your interest-free sofa offers."
Lap 35: Raikkonen continues to harry leader Vettel, with the Lotus looking like the quicker car this afternoon.
Lap 36: Grosjean is over eight seconds behind the lead battle in third.
Lap 36: KERS and DRS from Raikkonen into Turn 1 but Vettel closes the door this time and the Finn thinks better of a move for the moment.
Lap 36: The gaps are static in the other half of the top 10 with Rosberg sixth, Alonso seventh, Massa eighth, Hamilton ninth and Perez in 10th spot.
Lap 36: Vettel is told to push his revs to the limit using his overtake button in an attempt to defend from the charging Raikkonen.
Lap 37: A poor lap from Hamilton last time round and he is losing ground to the Ferrari pair - and Perez is catching him.
Lap 37: Hamilton also pits for the third time and rejoins behind Kobayashi.
Lap 38: Hulkenberg pits from 12th, allowing team-mate di Resta up one position.
Lap 38: No KERS deployment for Vettel according to the TV graphics, with Raikkonen still to make a move stick but right with the leader.
Lap 38: Ricciardo in 18th has caught back up to Petrov's Caterham. These two have been racing closely for a long time.
Lap 39: Perez and Schumacher come in ... oh, and Schumacher gets track position and gains a place as they come out.
Lap 39: Button resumes in eighth place, still behind Rosberg on the road.
Lap 39: Schumacher and Perez were side by side in the pitlane as they headed for the exit, but the Mexican had to back off, allowing Schumacher through.
Lap 39: Grosjean is now clocked six seconds off the lead battle, with Raikkonen having dropped back slightly from Vettel on the last lap.
Lap 39: Senna is also in for his final stop, as Hamilton posts the fastest lap of the race - 1m37.733s.
Lap 40: Ricciardo pits from 18th and behind him Kovalainen is also in for a stop.
Lap 40: Raikkonen powers out of the pit box but the Red Bull is already away and still in the lead.
Lap 40: Both Vettel and Raikkonen are on the harder tyres to try and make the race distance.
Lap 41: Battles developing again down the field and Hamilton in 10th is now all over the back of Kobayashi's Sauber.
Lap 41: Perez is also quick on his new tyres and determined to get back past Schumacher, as they fight for 12th.
Lap 41: Vettel's lead is now 2.2 seconds again over Raikkonen, with Grosjean resuming in third after a quick stop for Lotus.
Lap 41: Hamilton is in prime position and it's a textbook move past Kobayashi and into ninth place at Turn 1.
Lap 41: @WilliamsF1Team reports in on Maldonado's puncture-related retirement: "Pastor really disappointed as he says car felt best it has so far and he felt points were possible"
Lap 42: Massa is next onto the heels of the Japanese driver and looking set to have a go ... yes, the Ferrari is through on the run to Turn 11.
Lap 42: Webber is fourth, with di Resta up to fifth and question marks remaining over whether the Force India needs to stop again.
Lap 43: Vettel is pressing home his advantage on fresh tyres, pulling 3.2 seconds clear of Raikkonen, who clears backmarker de la Rosa.
Lap 43: Grosjean is the fastest of the top three at the moment by a fraction, but now 10 seconds off the lead.
Lap 44: Alonso holds onto eighth, but Hamilton - now clear of Kobayashi - is beginning to catch the Ferrari again.
