Lap 38: Caterham reporting a power steering failure for Petrov. How ironic...
Lap 38: A truck is on its way to go and retrieve Petrov's car, causing minor amusement as it briefly leads the safety car and the following pack.
Lap 38: Button now sees Vettel in his mirrors and asks about the Red Bull's race pace. He is told it has been similar but the team indicates there is more pace available thanks to fuel saving.
Lap 38: Worth remembering that the new Safety Car rules for this year mean that the tailenders will be waved by and allowed to unlap themselves. So no cars between the leaders...
Lap 38: Raikkonen, Vergne, Massa and Glock have all just pitted.
Lap 38: Webber and Maldonado have both been in for service.
Lap 38: Hamilton was forced to lap at the mandatory speed so there was a large gap for Vettel to drop into between the McLaren pair.
Lap 38: Alonso, Perez and Rosberg have all stayed out.
Lap 37: Vettel dives in for his stop and resumes in second place on the road.

Lap 36: Di Resta only just sneaked out in front of Massa mind you and the pair are separated by 1.1s.
Lap 35: The Scot rejoins after that stop in 12th place and leapfrogs Massa's Ferrari in the process.
Lap 35: Alonso now pits to fit another set of the harder tyres.

Lap 34: Di Resta pits from ninth and that promotes Perez, Rosberg and Vergne.
Lap 34: Hamilton tells his team that the tyres are fading on his McLaren, but he is encouraged to stay out for the moment.
Lap 33: Webber sets the fastest lap at 1m31.098s as he now enjoys clear air, pulling away from Maldonado and closing on Alonso.
Lap 33: Raikkonen is into seventh place as the second round of stops begin in earnest, with Kobayashi eighth, di Resta ninth and Perez in 10th.
Lap 33: Rosberg rejoins in 11th place after his second stop.
Lap 32: Controversy over that defending neatly avoided by Rosberg as he heads out of the pits on a new set of the harder tyres.
Lap 32: Meantime, Vergne lost 10 seconds skating through the gravel on the last lap, letting Perez through.
Lap 32: As Webber tries a move at Turn 11. Rosberg runs wide and takes to the escape road. He remains ahead but now pits the Mercedes.
Lap 32: Senna pits his Williams for the second time and rejoins after a short stop.

Lap 31: Rosberg, Webber and Maldonado now nose-to-tail down the main straight but they are struggling to overcome the slippery Mercedes.
Lap 31: Massa rejoined in 14th position after that stop with the Caterham duo just behind him.
Lap 30: Maldonado is also closing on that pair as Williams demonstrates strong pace at Albert Park.
Lap 30: Webber is the man on the move at the moment as is now all over the gearbox of Rosberg's Mercedes in a scrap for fifth.
