Lap 50: Massa resumes in 10th after a costly third stop.
Lap 49: Massa pits, releasing Perez into seventh after a very impressive one-stop strategy from Sauber on the Mexican's debut.
Lap 49: That will be satisfying for last year's race winner, after his clash with Massa earlier in the race cost Button a drive through.
Lap 48: Button breezes past Massa to take sixth into Turn 1.
Lap 48: 10 laps remaining in an eventful Australian Grand Prix.

Lap 47: Alonso is being asked to adjust his KERS and use it on the straight.
Lap 46: Alonso takes the fastest lap as he tries to escape from the chasing Webber.
Lap 46: The stops for the front runners are likely to be complete now, unless someone runs into serious tyre trouble in the closing stages.
Lap 46: The intense battle between Alonso and Webber over fourth is a further 12.7 seconds down the road behind Petrov.
Lap 45: Trulli is in 16th place for Lotus. He is 46 seconds behind Barrichello, with D'Ambrosio bringing up the rear in 17th.
Lap 45: Meanwhile, Vettel leads by 11.5 seconds from Hamilton's damaged McLaren, with Petrov a strong third for Renault.
Lap 45: Red Bull doesn't appear to have KERS available in the race, but the soft tyres on Webber's car should give better grip.
Lap 44: Webber has DRS as they flash past the pits but he can't make a move stick into Turn 1 this time.
Lap 44: Heidfeld is 8.7s behind the Scot in 13th place. He is followed by Alguersuari 14th and Barrichello 15th.

Lap 44: Kobayashi is ninth but some 11 seconds back, with Buemi 10th, Sutil 11th and di Reats 12th.
Lap 43: The closest battle in the race in the Button versus Perez scrap for seventh. The gap between them is one second.
Lap 43: It will be close out of the pits ... but Webber has lost a lot of time and Alonso is past the Red Bull as he resumes.
Lap 43: Alonso pits his Ferrari.
Lap 43: Perez is urged on by the Sauber pit and told to attack Button.
Lap 43: Barrichello is in the pits for the fourth time this afternoon. He rejoins still in a lowly 15th place.

Lap 42: Softs go on Webber's car and he resumes in fifth, needing to push now on his fresh tyres.
Lap 42: Webber pits his Red Bull, releasing Alonso. Can the Spaniard produce a quick lap or two before his own stop?
Lap 42: Perez is eighth and now only a couple of seconds behind Jenson Button. Kobayashi is ninth with Buemi 10th. Sutil is 11th ahead of di Resta 12th.
Lap 42: Alonso is getting closer to Webber now but still no sign of a move from the Spaniard.
Lap 41: Alonso is in the DRS zone but it makes little difference to his pursuit of Webber's Red Bull.
