Lap 36: Vettel continues to lead for the moment. He is looking to take positions from the BMW pair as he heads for the pits.
Lap 36: Mark Webber makes his final stop of the day, ending up behind Rosberg for the run to the finish.
Lap 35: Fisichella continues to charge and is now just 0.7s behind Raikkonen's Ferrari.
Lap 34: Nico Rosberg pits for the softer tyre and fuel to the flag.
Lap 34: Rubens Barrichello is on the march after some points this afternoon and is closing down on eighth placed Heikki Kovalainen.
Lap 34: Vettel is setting a strong pace as he runs longer than the others.
Lap 34: Timo Glock pits from eighth place in the Toyota and rejoins after a routine stop this time.
Lap 33: Heidfeld pits his BMW from second.
Lap 33: Vettel and Heidfeld have gone through without stopping so they are currently ahead before both stop again.
Lap 32: Raikkonen keeps the lead, just, and heads out with the advantage in Belgium.
Lap 32: The race for the lead is on in the pits as Ferrari and Force India go to work.
Lap 32: Raikkonen has stretched the gap by a fraction as both head for the pits.
Lap 32: Sebastien Buemi pits again from 10th and the race-long battle with Kovalainen is over. Routine stop for Toro Rosso and they send their Swiss driver back into the race.
Lap 31: The BMW is quickly away and he resumes in fifth.
Lap 31: Robert Kubica pits from third for his final stop.
Lap 31: Fisichella continues to match Raikkonen on pace and is still in with a chance of taking the lead back at the final stop.
Lap 30: Fernando Alonso did retire the Renault, and the disgruntled Spaniard rues another costly mistake with a wheel.
Lap 30: Rubens Barrichello pits and comes out in 11th, as Nakajima pits at the end of his very long first stint from 12th.
Lap 30: Robert Kubica is third, 6.7 seconds off the lead with Sebastian Vettel closing down on him in fourth and team-mate Heidfeld fifth.
Lap 30: Adrian Sutil has been into the pits from eighth whole all that was going on, and rejoins just ahead of Badoer in 13th.
Lap 29: Fisichella continues to hound Raikkonen's leading Ferrari.
Lap 28: Rubens Barrichello stops from sixth. He filled up the Brawn after his troubles on the first lap.
Lap 28: Buemi was chasing Kovalainen hard for many laps before the stops, and he almost jumps the McLaren on Kovalainen's lap out of the pits. Great racing between these two as they fight in a straight race over 10th.
Lap 28: Kovalainen comes out just behind Webber but the Finn can't fight back, instead coming under attack from Buemi.
Lap 27: The Renault team inform Alonso that there is a problem with the front left corner of the R29 and the Spaniard is on his way in to retire.
Lap 27: Heikki Kovalainen pits from a strong fourth for his first stop of the day.
Lap 27: Alonso is now 14th and 16 seconds behind Kazuki Nakajima. Luca Badoer was closing on Nakajima before his stop, and is 15th and last.
Lap 26: Replays show Alonso had contact on the left wheel fairing at the first corner, which explains the trouble shifting the wheel at that stop.
Lap 26: A huge pitlane total of 52.4 seconds for the unfortunate Alonso and he rejoins towards the back of the field, as we see Badoer pit the Ferrari.
Lap 26: Finally Alonso finally gets away but he is now right at the back after a disastrous stop.
Lap 25: It was a short fill of fuel but they still can't fit a tyre to the Renault.
Lap 25: Alonso pits, taking soft tyres ... but there is a fumble on the left front.
Lap 25: Luca Badoer is four-tenths of a second quicker than anyone else on the track in the first sector of the lap. He is now closing on Nakajima in a developing battle for 14th place. It's a straight race between the two, as neither of them have pitted yet.
Lap 25: The top four remain in sight as they power along the Kemmel straight, all with one stop to make.
Lap 24: Adrian Sutil - who was nicely keeping pace with Rubens Barrichello - has a moment at the Fagnes chicane and rejoins without losing his ninth place. Immediately behind him on the road now are Rosberg and Glock, with Webber in 12th closing on them all.
Lap 24: Fernando Alonso is now under three seconds off the lead as the Spaniard enjoys a long first stint before a single stop in a few laps.
Lap 23: Trulli now comes back into the pits slowly, and is wheeled into the garage. Jarno's day is over.
Lap 23: Kimi Raikkonen is told to push on his radio as Fisichella is due to stop around the same time as the leader. The Force India is still under a second off the front.
Lap 23: Sebastien Buemi comes into the pits for his first stop in the Toro Rosso. Meantime we see replays of problems for Trulli at his recent pitstop. Trulli lurched forward slightly before the refueling was complete, and it took some time to get the hose out.
Lap 22: Sebastian Buemi makes his first stop from sixth on the road, releasing Vettel up to sixth.
