Meeke continues to dominate in Brazil

Kris Meeke continued his domination of Rally de Curitiba by completing a clean sweep of seven stage victories on Friday

The Peugeot UK driver has won every stage of the rally so far and heads into the overnight break 48 seconds clear of his nearest challenger.

Following his strong start to the rally this morning, Meeke says he enjoyed this afternoon's three repeated stages even more second time round.

"If anything it was even better than the first time because you know the roads that little bit better and have the confidence to go quicker," he told autosport.com.

"This is really the first gravel rally I've done in nearly three years and I never imagined things would be going so well."

Giandomenico Basso has moved up to second place in his Abarth Grand Punto, but will begin tomorrow's final day just three tenths of a second ahead of Nicolas Vouilloz.

Alejandro Cancio remains fourth in his Mitsubishi, with Freddy Loix continuing to slip further away from the leaders while running first on the road this afternoon.

Anton Alen is climbed back to eighth on the leaderboard following his crash on SS3, which cost him more than seven minutes this morning. He was back on the pace of the front runners this afternoon, just 0.3s slower than Meeke on SS7.
