JULES BIANCHI RECEIVES ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD FROM ALLAN McNISH
Marussia Formula 1 driver Jules Bianchi was named AUTOSPORT Rookie of the Year at the AUTOSPORT Awards in association with Mercedes-Benz.
He was presented with his Award by three-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner and 2013 World Endurance champion Allan McNish.
McLAREN RECEIVES JOHN BOLSTER AWARD FROM EMERSON FITTIPALDI
McLaren earned a John Bolster Award at the AUTOSPORT Awards in recognition of its 50 years of technical excellence in motorsport.
The marque, which celebrated its half-centenary this year, was famously set up in founder Bruce McLaren's shed in 1963 but has since developed into Britain's most successful Formula 1 team.
Emerson Fittipaldi was on hand to present the award, which was accepted by McLaren managing director Jonathan Neale.
NIKI LAUDA RECEIVES A GREGOR GRANT AWARD FROM JOHN WATSON
Three-time Formula 1 world champion Niki Lauda was honoured for his lifetime achievements in motorsport at the 2013 AUTOSPORT Awards.
The Gregor Grant Award was presented by his former Brabham team-mate John Watson, and the pair treated the audience to some classic memories from 1970s F1.
JOHN SURTEES RECEIVES A GREGOR GRANT AWARD FROM DARIO FRANCHITTI
John Surtees' incredible accomplishments on two and four wheels were marked with a Gregor Grant Award for lifetime achievement.
But the man presenting his award received just as good a reception, as Dario Franchitti made his first public appearance since announcing he was having to retire from motor racing on medical grounds following his Houston IndyCar crash.
