Plenty of highlights from the year of motorsport being showed in a video package. A big cheer for Porsche's LMP1 title winners when they featured. All three are here tonight.
That's a pretty snappy red jacket from now two-time World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg, who received one of last year's Gregor Grant Awards.

You'll read a lot about the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award throughout the evening. It's something we're incredibly passionate about, and grateful to be working with McLaren and the BRDC on each and every year.

That information has just been relayed to guests by the great Murray Walker, who has kindly voiced a number of pieces for us to use tonight.
Guests are currently enjoying their evening meal - the dessert is particularly exquisite - before the next round of awards presentations starts in about 10 minutes.
When you win the World Endurance Championship, like Brendan Hartley did this year, your tuxedo gets a bit of a workout. His Porsche team-mates Mark Webber and Timo Bernhard are here too.
Carlos Sainz Jr is here, with his father. The younger of the two is up for Rookie of the Year a little later on.
Guests flowed into Grosvenor House earlier, with Marino and Dario Franchitti among the first to arrive.
That award was presented by WIlliams Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa, who also handed Gordon Shedden the National Driver of the Year silverware:

The young driver whose career changed 12 months ago, George Russell recently completed his McLaren test. Here's how it went: 
And here they are on stage. At the end of tonight, one young driver will join an illustrious group, and starting the countdown to his McLaren Formula 1 test.
As usual, the night will conclude with the naming of the 2015 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner. Here's the 2015 finalists:

In fact, the very first guest on stage was 1972 and '74 Formula 1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi, helping to introduce a group of karting champions to the audience.
We have been joined in London by nearly 1200 members of the motorsport community for the annual gala to celebrate the year's highest performers and best achievements.
