MotoGP - Mugello: Although the weather has cleared up, AUTOSPORT's Simon Strang warns that "there are some massive storm clouds heading in the general direction of the paddock from the final corner."

Giacomo Ricci
Auto GP - Silverstone: GP2 race-winner Giacomo Ricci has confirmed he will not be competing in this weekend's meeting, leaving 17 starters. The Italian, who was provisionally on the entry list, will focus on his managerial/driver coaching role at MLR71.
Acropolis Rally: Mikko Hirvonen and Jari-Matti Latvala joke in the pre-event press conference about having their own Finnish Championship, rather than trying to fight Sebastien Ogier for the World Rally Championship.
Acropolis Rally: Latvala spent an hour setting up the lights on his car for tonight's 16-mile dark stage. Unfortunately, his lights are great, but the rear differential on his Polo R WRC wasn't right in qualifying this morning - it's being changed right now.

Narain Karthikeyan
Auto GP - Silverstone: Next up is Auto GP's second free practice session from Silverstone.
Earlier this morning, Narain Karthikeyan got his debut for Super Nova off to a fine start with the fastest time.
The Indian ex-Formula 1 driver had struggled to turn his pace into results with previous team Zele, but has now linked up with the squad that won the last round at the Hungaroring with Vittorio Ghirelli.
Tamas Pal Kiss gets another Auto GP outing as he takes the Zele seat vacated by Karthikeyan.
And Karthikeyan's Super Nova chance does not come as the expense of any of its existing drivers, as he gets a third car alongside Ghirelli and Francesco Dracone.
Auto GP - Silverstone: Ghirelli's Silverstone success brought him up to third in the championship, but the top men remain Kimiya Sato and Sergio Campana, who have each taken two wins so far.
Auto GP standings after six of 16 rounds:
1 Kimiya Sato 97
2 Sergio Campana 92
3 Vittorio Ghirelli 83
4 Riccardo Agostini 51
5 Luciano Bacheta 45

MotoGP - Mugello: The sun is now out in Italy. Moto3 practice has just finished with Luis Salom fastest.
This morning's opening MotoGP session began on a damp track and was only ready for slicks in the final minutes.
Marc Marquez set the pace, despite falling immediately after his best lap, while the Yamahas did not run on slicks.
