Max Verstappen controlled the US GP sprint race on Saturday, but takes on a trickier challenge in the grand prix as he starts from sixth place with Charles Leclerc on pole.
While the Red Bull driver remains favourite, having wrapped up the F1 world drivers’ title last time out in Qatar, his rivals will be looking to spring an upset at the Circuit of the Americas.
The US GP starts at 8pm BST.

Hello one and all! Here we go then for the United State GP main event - Sunday's 56-lap grand prix. The cars are on the way from the pitlane to the grid.
Russell has detected an issue with his car on the way to the grid: "I've lost the button on the back of the brake magic." His team confirm they will try to fix it on the grid.
Meanwhile Stroll has been noted by race control for not entering pitlane... which is a new one. You'd think he'd know how the laps to the grid work by now.
The pitlane is closed and the pair of Haas and Aston Martin drivers are where they are meant to be. No update yet on what Stroll did, but it could be him not going through pitlane during the reconnaissance laps.
Anyway, the US GP will have 16 starters on the grid and four from pitlane - the most blasting off from the pitlane since the 2003 Brazilian GP, we're reliably informed.
The US GP sprint race was a relatively tame affair on Saturday, but could things get a bit spicy for the start today? Verstappen will be the one to watch blasting from sixth.
Stroll is going to be investigated after the race for not entering pitlane following his reconnaissance laps. The FIA has upped its maximum fine to €1m from this weekend - it won't be that kind of cash but the penalty will probably be a monetary one.
Let's talk race strategy: Pirelli is predicting a two-stopper for the majority of the drivers today and most will likely start on mediums before switching to hards in the middle stint and then a final blast on whatever rubber they prefer.
With 10 minutes to go here's the weather check: It is bright and sunny once again at COTA, but it is not as hot as earlier in the weekend. The temperature is 29.2C with the track at a fraction below 40C.
Not much variance but, credit to Pirelli, they nailed their predictions. So expect the two hard tyre starters to try to go bold and target a one-stop... which for Hulkenberg and Haas might be a tall order.
On the opening lap at Turn 12 Sainz has a look at overtaking team-mate Leclerc for second but has to back out of it. Further back Piastri attacks Verstappen but gets shown the long way around.
Norris has a 1.7s lead at the end of lap one! Impressive! Leclerc is still keeping an eye on Sainz behind him, with Hamilton tracking both of them in fourth.
Norris is flying at the front as he puts another seven-tenths of a second into his lead. Verstappen, in fifth, is taking a steady approach to his expected charge up the order after the first lap.
Hamilton gets third from Sainz, using DRS on the back straight, and dives up the inside into Turn 12. Behind them Verstappen had a great view of that move.
