Giovinazzi's on C1s, that might well be the first long run of the afternoon.
Russell's stint comes to a close and we're back to an empty track again. Who will pick up the mantle of giving Autosport something to talk about in this session?
Russell watch is back: Fairly average sector times on his first flyer of this stint, still on the C3s, it's a 1m22.954s.

Williams appears to be alternating between push and cool down laps early on here.
But not to worry! He's straight back out again. We were worried about our updates then.
Russell's now past 50 for the day, well on course for Williams's best day of pre-season testing so far this year.
We're enjoying the regular use of the C3 tyres here today, mostly because it's very easy to spot compared to the rest of Pirelli's range.
That's more like it. Russell's in the ballpark of this morning's times with a 1m20.445s lap, that's around eight tenths off his best.
Alfa Romeo on top in the morning, but will it stay there this afternoon?

Russell watch part two: First proper lap in the bag on those C3 tyres. It's a 1m29.159s.
Thanks Williams and Russell! The driver heads out on track to help us make more updates.
From our vantage point we can see some corners of a go-kart track, looks to be a close battle going on over there.
If any F1 team is reading this, please send a car out on track so we can keep making updates. Thanks.
We're underway, and no-one hits the track straightaway.
We can hear pitguns chirping up and down the pitlane, so we're moments away from cars moving.
This afternoon Hamilton hands the keys to the Mercedes over to Bottas.

Over at Ferrari, Leclerc can enjoy the afternoon sun as Vettel climbs into the Ferrari.

Renault will do similar with Hulkenberg vacating his seat for Ricciardo to run this session.

Everyone else? As you were.
News from (not too far) afield. Fernando Alonso - remember him? - has picked a new race number for his 2019 Indianapolis 500 bid, and it's one synonymous with McLaren's success in the event.
Alonso selects new number for 2019 Indy 500 bid
This year is an exceptional one for F1 rookies - the top three from last year's F2 title fight, plus 2016 GP2 runner-up Antonio Giovinazzi getting his first full campaign.

What should George Russell, Lando Norris, Alexander Albon and Giovinazzi focus on to make the most of this year as they try to cement a long-term F1 career?

Autosport Performance got expert advice for the newcomers from Juan Pablo Montoya, Sir Jackie Stewart, Gary Anderson and Ralph Firman:

OK, the second test might already be underway, but here are the key questions we want to see answered in this second week at Barcelona.

We would contest Mercedes' 96-lap claim. Our timing screen suggests Hamilton completed (a still impressive) 83 laps, one less than Magnussen managed in the Haas.
A smattering of pitlane drive-bys happening now as we enter the final minute.
