Rob Huff stays on top in Donington Park practice two
Rob Huff remains the benchmark for the World Touring Car field as he topped the second free practice session at Donington Park
On a drying track, Huff (Chevrolet) remained in control for much of the session and finished with a best lap of 1m49.513s, just edging out the SUNRED SEAT of Gabriele Tarquini by 0.081 seconds.
Chevrolet's Yvan Muller was third ahead of Robert Dahlgren's Volvo and the SEATs of Freddy Barth and Michel Nykjaer.
Colin Turkington's cameo appearance with Weichers-Sport was muted; the 2009 British Touring Car champion only joining in towards the end of the session and finishing up 19th quickest.
Others to encounter problems included Zengo-Dension BMW's Norbert Michelisz, who beached himself in the Craner Curves gravel mid-way through the session, and Proteam's Fabio Fabiani, who was unable to take part at all due to a differential problem.
