Garcia completes KMP line-up

Formula Renault 3.5 team KMP Racing has confirmed that Spanish racer Victor Garcia will complete its driving line-up alongside Anton Nebylitskiy

Garcia graduates from the British Formula 3 International Class where he raced last year with Fortec Motorsport, finishing 14th in the standings.

KMP team boss Bruno Besson told AUTOSPORT: "I saw the story this morning and was a bit worried as we hadn't finalised the contract, but after speaking to Garcia's manager, Santiago Porteiro, I can confirm with you that everything is okay and it is 95 per cent certain to happen.

"Victor is due to come to the factory tomorrow for a seat fitting, and then we will go to Valencia for a test on February 28th. I think there will be eight teams, including Tech 1, Comtec and Epsilon Euskadi present.

"Although I didn't get to see anything of Victor racing last year in British Formula 3, we saw him in FR3.5 testing at Motorland. He's a really nice guy, and I think we have good engineers who are able to help young drivers. I have a very good relationship with Santiago and we think we can help him progress."

The first official Formula Renault 3.5 collective test will take place at Barcelona on March 4th-5th.
