FR 3.5 calendar announced

Next year's Formula Renault 3.5 calendar has been unveiled, with Brno and Hockenheim being added to the schedule for the first time

The championship will run at all eight Renault World Series events, while a single Monaco Grand Prix support race will also be held - as has been the case this year.

Hockenheim replaces the Nurburgring as the host of the German round while Magny-Cours returns to the calendar for the first time since 2007, in place of Le Mans Bugatti. Brno replaces the round at the Algarve.

Additionally, the Barcelona and Motorland Aragon rounds will swap places, with the latter opening the season on April 17-18.

Key format changes for next season include track time being increased to up to five hours per round and a change to the qualifying format, with the reversed grid system being scrapped. Each race will instead have a separate session to determine the grid.

15-16 May Monaco

3-4 July Hungaroring, Hungary
4-5 September Hockenheim, Germany
