Duval to drive for OMV in Catalunya

Belgian Francois Duval will be back in action at next month's Rally Catalunya after being confirmed for another outing with the OMV Kronos Citroen team

Duval had secured a deal with Kronos for Rally Germany, but his superb performance in the event, where he finished second behind Sebastien Loeb, has earned him another outing in Spain.

Duval will be hoping to take full advantage of his speed on Tarmac to help Loeb in his fight with Ford's Marcus Gronholm in the championship.

"I am very happy to rejoin the team for Catalunya, a rally that I like very much," Duval said on his website.

"The Kronos team, as well as Citroen Sport, has put all its efforts for me to participate there. It is true that Marcus' victory last weekend has put more pressure on the championship.

"In any case, I will do my best to better Ford's performance. It will not be easy though to repeat the result from Germany, but the support from my fans will help me a lot.

"As far as the next round after Spain, Marc Van Dalen will put all his energy to ensure my participation in Corsica."
