Porsche fastest in final Spa World Endurance Championship practice
Porsche returned to the top of the times in final free practice for this weekend's Spa round of the World Endurance Championship
Timo Bernhard went quickest aboard the #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid with the fastest time of the weekend .
The German led the way initially with a 1m58.485s, before team-mate Brendon Hartley jumped in the car and set a 1m57.274s
Bernhard then returned to the cockpit and posted a 1m56.465s.
That compared with Neel Jani's 1m58.163s in the second of the Porsche LMP1s.
The best of the Toyota TS050 HYBRIDs, which had finished one-two in second free practice, was less than two tenths behind in third place courtesy of a 1m58.327s from Kamui Kobayashi.
Andre Lotter took fourth place in the fastest Audi R18 e-tron quattro on a 1m58.976s.
Sebastien Buemi was fifth in the second Toyota, while Lucas di Grassi ended up sixth in the #8 Audi.
The second of the R18 e-tron quattros lost time in the session to front suspension and bodywork repairs after Loic Duval made contact with the KCMG/Proton GTE Am class Porsche 911 RSR at the Bus Stop chicane.
The G-Drive Racing ORECA-Nissan 05 led the way in LMP2.
Nathanael Berthon headed the times early on in the Jota-run car before team-mate Rene Rast posted a 2m07.341s.
That put him four tenths up on Nelson Panciatici in the second of the Signatech Alpine ORECA coupes.
The two factory AF Corse Ferraris headed the GTE Pro order.
Gianmaria Bruni ended up quickest with a 2m17.874s, which put him just over three tenths up on Davide Rigon in the second of the new 488 GTEs.
Paulo Ruberti was fastest in GTE Am aboard the Larbre Competition Chevrolet Corvette C7.R.
